Shri P.T.Rajan went with the Ayyappan Vigraham along the streets in Chennai and I saw this procession when I was growing up in Mylapore near Mandavelli. Now I understand that P T Rajan is actually the father of Palanivel Thiagarajan. Thanks a lot for this contribution to P.T.Rajan to the Hindu faith. Shri P T Rajan followed with folded hands in the streets behind the Ayyappa Idol. Such devotion.

Ayyappan temple built by Tamizh Pandalam Dynasty. Pandian dynasty Kings: Pandalam escaped and migrated to Pathanamthitta (Present day Kerala) during the local civil war in Madurai.
