Thanks, we loved the views on this walk. Mostly I edit when back at home, so yes I download to a hard drive. The Germany tour was about 400GB of footage. Also my laptop struggles to edit the 360 footage which is another reason for editing on my Mac when back home.
Andy can you tell us about that pole the go pro is on, like people are saying it’s drone like views. This video is superb, look forward to the next one on the bikes Ian and lyndsey
Hi Ian, its a long pole (2.7m) but the magic happens with the camera - a GoPro Max 360 which has lenses on both sides of the body. It uses something called "over capture" which shoots just slightly wider than 180° which then hides the pole. Its very useful for getting drone like shots without a drone 😀 Cheers..Andy&Michelle
