    @EngineerX What does this guys do with a 7040x3 or a 7056x3 on 4S ? You only mount 2-blade props... is their a reason? :)

    Love racerstar and have over 30 drones all built with racerstar motors. I run 3-6s and have many many packs run through them. Great quality low budget motors and I will put my drones up against any of your name brands any day. Just saying

    So i really look forward to your work. Thank you. Really hoping to see the new T-MOTOR F-80. I bought a set of racerstar motors 2405s or something in racing red. I was really disappointed High amps low power i flew a pack and replaced them with a set of emax motors. I am not a snoot but they seem like for value per dollar they were still overpriced i will probably use them for a plane someday as they make for messy paperwieghts

      Yes, the RacerStars are true low-budget motors. You can see the magnet-to-stator gap is huge and stator wire looks like it's been used or recycled LoL.... Well for $9 to $12 per motor they don't really use top components. These here make some OK thrust using their big size. But of course there are better options.
      I've contacted Tmotor in the past and never got a reply or offer for sample motors so I'll have to think if I want to order one of those F80s for testing, but not sure because they're not cheap. Thank you for watching.

      Anything above 22 stator suck a lot of amps for slight increase of performance.

      True. 24XX & 25XX are better match for larger 6" to 8" props.

    Perfect video! We need more 5" test in 6S ;) Thanks your works!

      I agree - that is definitely the best performance value out there. 6" thrust and efficiency is mega, and 5S packs are a bargain now that the hype-riders are on 6S exclusively.

    • @EngineerX
      @EngineerX  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right, almost nobody talks 5S now so there's probably plenty of 5S packs that need to be sold.

    Hate how the motor wires are so short. Didn’t reach my stack was so annoyed

    Dear EngineerX, I admire highly your work, but please in future videos, when you get some motors for testing from the manufacturer, please insist them to provide the maximum continues power of the motor since this is the most important parameter as you know as an engineer. I've burned several from the motors you have tested with a lot less power then the power I've seen in your tests. As example brother hobby avenger burned out for about 5 sec on 800 wats of power.

    • @EngineerX
      @EngineerX  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'll ask the manufacturers and see if they provide that information. I think IF they give the max continuous power rating it will be a LOW number because perhaps they don't want to run risk of claiming too high or borderline. Most motor manufacturers don't know or don't give that rating or they give some number too low or sometimes too high. There's no standard so it's difficult to get any good number from them. I will ask them and if they give info I'll add it to the video.

      Should be able to tell what the amp rating is by the wire gauge. And then multiply that by the voltage to get the max power.

    Why cant I find the HQ7045 on Banggood ?

    • @kermets
      @kermets 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bugger, Unless Us internationally viewers can get them maybe no point testing them anymore
      getfpv wants 40usd to ship 4 dollars of props to NZ

    • @EngineerX
      @EngineerX  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kermets Sorry to hear about that. Seems like a no-win for all. HQ should facilitate prop availability. Not sure who else sells them. There a new higher demand for 7" props now that everyone is looking into larger power-cruiser quads. I'll be testing some other 7" triblade props in the near future. Hopefully those are easier to get.

      for now I've purchased some 7"Gemfan flash to try from BG and a BrotherHobby Avenger 2507 1850kv,

      @@kermets Hey Brett thank you too for watching. I try to reply/help whenever I can. I've see a few people using the GF 7" with good results. Hopefully it works for you. I'll keep an eye on your channel to see if you get any video on your wing. Always cool to see what people are doing with these motors and props :)
