Can You Smell Gas!!?? LPG Leak Detection

So, I've been running for a gas leak for a while now, in fact I don't think that my van has even NOT had a bit of a leak despite me trying to do the right thing and take it to a 'professional' and get a gas safety check done.
Anyway, I finally got round to doing something about it the other day, and it was actually a lot easier to fix than I thought it would be!

My van is a fiat ducato L3H2. Essentially the same van as a peugeot boxer, citroen relay and ram promaster.

Hi all, just wondering this stuff how is it on copper pipes and gas fittings and pipe work to cooker, does it corrode the pipe?

Hi should be fine, I haven't had any issues using it. Copper is corrosion resistant anyway. Thanks!

Dodgy things connections on a gas pipe I never trust them..... I tried to avoid gas for the van and got a diesel heater there cheap now there's reliable clones, but there's no real diesel cooker unless you want to spend like 2k up for one.

Totally agree. Lots of lessons learnt doing this van. Would 100% go diesel heater for the next one.

@@sampayne6318 mines been a nightmare lol, but I set myself the challenge of trying to do it as cheap as possible with repurposed or recycled, I tell you now just buying a water tank and throwing it inside the back is way easier than using 25l tubs and fixing them underneath, almost made me quit did the cold plumbing, not even started the hot yet

You could use an alcohol stove if you are willing not to bother with an oven.
