I feel grateful for your channel and to you, I found your channel searching for help with eye brows. Since I found you a week ago I've spent a lot of time learning all about make-up, a subject I had no clue about. You're so much fun to learn from. I've always been scare of make-up, I've spent all my adult years not knowing how to put make-up on so I didn't. I was a mascara and lipstick girl until I found your videos. This past weekend I threw out all my cheap no good make-up, went to Sephora & Macy's and invested a ton of $ on all the the basics, like naked pallet, foundation, bronzers, primers, etc. Never had I ventured into those departments and spend my hard earn money on myself, I guess I've neglected myself, but nowI feel pretty and happy. Thank you, for helping women like me (who are clueless about cosmetics) feel confident enough to try new things. I just turned 40, and it depressed me a bit, now thanks to you I don't have to look old and tired...I'm looking old and fabulous! Thank you for the inspiration, ideas, and recommendations. I would love to see that as well, but Jaclyn doesn't wear glasses as far as I know. I do though and I love wearing neutral matte eye shadow and colored eyeliner to bring more definition and attention to them and of course a little mascara. That is just what I do when I wear my glasses. Hope that helps!
Im a darkskined girl and I loove dark lipstick because it goes good with my skin tone. I've been on the hunt for some cute dark colored liquid to matte lipsticks and my prayers have been answered. I will definitely be getting Sad Girl and Vintage.
This review is too subjective no matter what you said because Norvina is your friend, and you didn't pay them with your money. We are all excited when we get something free but please. They're quite expensive, but this review made me buy 2 of them. They transfer, dissapear when I eat and fade after few hours (Kat Von D ones are freaking glue!). I didn't hear you say one bad thing so.. Honesty is appreciated, but where is it? ...
You have to think too, lipsticks wear different on different people. Jaclyn wouldn't put this out if they didn't personally work for her. Not being rude just saying.
I mean let's be honest too, if you eat OILY or GREASY food, they will come off even just slightly and that's every liquid lipstick not just these. That's why she used oily between swatches. I see where you're coming from, but I've followed Jaclyn for the longest time and have never been misled by a product.
the Anastasia ones are like glue to me the Kat von d ones transfer and dissappear in 3-4 hours. the Anastasia ones are more drying for sure. I think everyone has different results.
+Chloe Connor I know this is an old comment. But I definitely feel misled also...I ordered almost solely because of this video. I have two of the kat von d ones and LOVE them, so was interested in trying a different color and decided to try the Anastasia ones because every single youtube guru I watched... who received them all for free...(see a pattern?) raved about them. It's AWFUL. And I got Heathers which is a dark vampy color so I looked like a clown because I trusted it would wear like the kat von d ones. I finally went in the bathroom and used a chapstick and a paper towel to try to remove it. (which worked far too well) It transferred like crazy on straws and when I ate. The kat von d ones take me rubbing with coconut oil for a bit AT THE END OF MY DAY to remove. I am looking into returning it because its ridiculous.
I just found you're channel and love it! I wish you would do a nighttime skin care routine for various skin types. I have oily skin & am fearful of moisturizers because I don't want to wake up looking like a grease ball. Also, a makeup tutorial for "mom's". I'm still hanging on to my 20s with 3 little babes but, I want to still look good. I'd love a makeup tutorial for the "average stay at home mom". You're awesome & beautiful! :)
I have very oily skin as well, and I didn't use moisturizers like I should've. But last week, I got this face wash by Neutrogena, it came with a face lotion that changed my life lol! Its just called "oil-free lotion". It has SPF15 because the wash makes your skin more prone to getting sunburned. As a nighttime skin care, I would recommend Neutrogena complete acne therapy system, it clears my face and helps keep it clear. It doesn't lie when it says it starts working in 4 days. Wow, it sounds like I'm going to marry this stuff, but it really works, I would recommend it to everyone with oily skin. I hope this helps!
I actually work in skincare so I might be able to help?? I would definitely recommend the moisturizer that Clarins carries specifically for oily skin, since it's made to take care of skin that can look like "a grease ball". They also have a line called Multi-Active that is made for people in their 20's-30's that are just noticing first signs of aging (fine lines). You mentioned you're in your 20's which is why I'm recommending that lol. I hope this helps a tiny bit!
I have oily skin as well and no matter what skin type you are you should ALWAYS use a moisturizer, gel moisturizers are better for oily skin types. Your body is producing oil, but the oil isn't actually hydrating your skin which is what it needs. When you put moisturizer on your skin, your body recognises that there is oil there and so it stops making more. If you are really concerned then you should try using a toner after cleansing and then apply moisturizer. Hope this helps :)
I would love love love to see you do a tutorial using someone else as the model! I would love to watch and learn and see you doing makeup on someone else for a change. .. someone with smaller eyes or blonde hair or olive skin or someone over 40... something different besides you but I Love you! I would love to see that as well, but Jaclyn doesn't wear glasses as far as I know. I do though and I love wearing neutral matte eye shadow and colored eyeliner to bring more definition and attention to them and of course a little mascara. That is just what I do when I wear my glasses. Hope that helps!

Im a darkskined girl and I loove dark lipstick because it goes good with my skin tone. I've been on the hunt for some cute dark colored liquid to matte lipsticks and my prayers have been answered. I will definitely be getting Sad Girl and Vintage.
This review is too subjective no matter what you said because Norvina is your friend, and you didn't pay them with your money. We are all excited when we get something free but please. They're quite expensive, but this review made me buy 2 of them. They transfer, dissapear when I eat and fade after few hours (Kat Von D ones are freaking glue!). I didn't hear you say one bad thing so.. Honesty is appreciated, but where is it? ...
You have to think too, lipsticks wear different on different people. Jaclyn wouldn't put this out if they didn't personally work for her. Not being rude just saying.

I mean let's be honest too, if you eat OILY or GREASY food, they will come off even just slightly and that's every liquid lipstick not just these. That's why she used oily between swatches. I see where you're coming from, but I've followed Jaclyn for the longest time and have never been misled by a product.
the Anastasia ones are like glue to me the Kat von d ones transfer and dissappear in 3-4 hours. the Anastasia ones are more drying for sure. I think everyone has different results.

I have two of the kat von d ones and LOVE them, so was interested in trying a different color and decided to try the Anastasia ones because every single youtube guru I watched... who received them all for free...(see a pattern?) raved about them. It's AWFUL. And I got Heathers which is a dark vampy color so I looked like a clown because I trusted it would wear like the kat von d ones. I finally went in the bathroom and used a chapstick and a paper towel to try to remove it. (which worked far too well) It transferred like crazy on straws and when I ate. The kat von d ones take me rubbing with coconut oil for a bit AT THE END OF MY DAY to remove.
I am looking into returning it because its ridiculous.
I just found you're channel and love it! I wish you would do a nighttime skin care routine for various skin types. I have oily skin & am fearful of moisturizers because I don't want to wake up looking like a grease ball. Also, a makeup tutorial for "mom's". I'm still hanging on to my 20s with 3 little babes but, I want to still look good. I'd love a makeup tutorial for the "average stay at home mom". You're awesome & beautiful! :)
I have very oily skin as well, and I didn't use moisturizers like I should've. But last week, I got this face wash by Neutrogena, it came with a face lotion that changed my life lol! Its just called "oil-free lotion". It has SPF15 because the wash makes your skin more prone to getting sunburned. As a nighttime skin care, I would recommend Neutrogena complete acne therapy system, it clears my face and helps keep it clear. It doesn't lie when it says it starts working in 4 days. Wow, it sounds like I'm going to marry this stuff, but it really works, I would recommend it to everyone with oily skin. I hope this helps!

I actually work in skincare so I might be able to help?? I would definitely recommend the moisturizer that Clarins carries specifically for oily skin, since it's made to take care of skin that can look like "a grease ball". They also have a line called Multi-Active that is made for people in their 20's-30's that are just noticing first signs of aging (fine lines). You mentioned you're in your 20's which is why I'm recommending that lol. I hope this helps a tiny bit!
I have oily skin as well and no matter what skin type you are you should ALWAYS use a moisturizer, gel moisturizers are better for oily skin types. Your body is producing oil, but the oil isn't actually hydrating your skin which is what it needs. When you put moisturizer on your skin, your body recognises that there is oil there and so it stops making more. If you are really concerned then you should try using a toner after cleansing and then apply moisturizer. Hope this helps :)

I would love to watch and learn and see you doing makeup on someone else for a change. .. someone with smaller eyes or blonde hair or olive skin or someone over 40... something different besides you but I Love you! You should use the color "Potion" and "Electric Coral" in an ombré look. It would be AMAZING. With a chocolate cranberry smokey eye look.
