Hi guys! Just a heads up, the first Reaction starts at 5 minutes in. Before then I go over some thoughts and theories regarding League and Arcane! Enjoy!
If you want too I'm sure people would love seeing you react to the "Tales of Runeterra" animations. They're short videos set in the League of legends world that show off the world, characters, and lore. I don't play the game or know much besides those and similar videos and the stuff from Arcane but you don't need to know much to enjoy them. My favorite is "Tales of Runeterra: Bilgewater Double-Double Cross” although "Tales of Runeterra: Don't Mess With Yordles" is a close second. As far as I know you can watch them in any order but if you prefer I think the "League of Legends" TH-cam channel has a playlist.
Edit: I said the playlist was on the "League of Legends: Wild Rift" TH-cam page but its on the "League of Legends" TH-cam page. The Yordles video is on League of Legends: Wild Rift but most, and maybe that video, are on the League of Legends channel.
There is also a documentary about making of Arcane called Bridging the rift. It give a look behind the scenes, how everything was made in terms of animation, music, sound, etc. If you like these kind of thing, you might want to check out.
regarding the Arcane S2 teaser trailer - the league community is very excited about the information we get from it because they sound effects tease a champion for season2. I won't spoil you for that by recommending the cinematics of that champion but to be fair you already saw a bit in Arcane S1. Since you are just diving into the World of LoL, I just want to inform you that music has been a solid pillar of the League universe and is therefore a very unique selling point. Riot even build an own music department and even the score and sound effects of Arcane is done by their own department. So every champion got his own theme (I strongly recommend reactions here ^^) over the years or they even build virtual pop/rock/metal/rap groups and released even whole albums around the Lore of League. That is why many recognize the soundeffect at the end of the teaser and are looking so much forward to S2.
The Robo dude's name is Blitzkrank, and in League of Legends lore he has been created by Viktor to help the citizens of Zaun with pollution, I believe.
The place they teleport to is Summoner's Rift. Its the map you play on.

The little guy is Teemo, who was in Arcane on the game Powder was playing in the arcade before the guy gets thrown through the window, and in the childrens book that Dustin was looking at while Silco was threatening Marcus and his daughter.
Something to be careful of is that Arcane is, technically, non-canon. If you watch some of the other LoL videos like the Legends of Runeterra ones, you may see some Piltover and Zaun stuff and wonder if it's a spoiler/how it ties in to Arcane. And the answer is that it probably doesn't. Or if it does the way in which is relates is unknown since the writers can change almost whatever they want.
Of the characters on the battlefield:
Jinx's side:
- Yasuo: Samurai guy who defeated the ninjas with a spoon (he was bored because he didn't need his sword). He has his own impressive cinematic ("Kin of the Stained Blade"), and also shows up in "Welcome Aboard", a space-based skin line that includes Jinx.
- Lux: Bored blonde girl that was studying. She shows up in the season 2020 cinematic, "Warriors"
- Teemo: The little yordle with the mushrooms. He shows up in the Pentakill (band name) video, "Mortal Reminder", and is also shown in a picture book in Arcane, in the scene with Marcus' daughter.
- Blitzcrank: The robot guy. Is from Zaun.
Other side:
- Ahri: Fox girl. Is in lots of videos, such as "A New Dawn". Is the lead singer of the animated K-pop band, K/DA.
- Braum: Big guy with the shield. Has his own short cinematic with a little creature like Heimerdinger's pet "dog".
- Malphite: Big rock guy that Lux fought. He also shows up in "Welcome Aboard".
- Camille: Lady with the mechanical legs. She also shows up in "Awaken", the season 2019 cinematic. Is from Piltover.
- Zed: Guy who teleports through smoke.
I actually like how clever the Wild Rift trailer is.
Lux, the blonde girl wants excitement. She was studying but daydreaming about fighting a giant rock monster. That is why she is excited to see the enemy team.
Yasuo, the swordsman was looking for a challenge. That is why he seems happy to have to think and challenge himself to fight Zed, the ninja at the end.
Blitzcrank, the robot, was lonely. He finds a friend in Teemo, the little yordle.
So the trailer is saying you can find fun, excitement, challenge, and new friends by playing Wild Rift. Very clever ad, I love it.
I kind of feel like Lux wanting to take on Malphite is a nod towards the trailer The Light Within
Hi Vegie, love your arcane reactions! ❤️ This is official Wild Rift trailer, which is a mobile version of League of Legends game, which is a 5v5 moba in a similar map to this video, so this is not so lore connected, but they're all characters in game. For Wild Rift you can check out "Never stop me" too, which is 2022 championship trailer.

As an esports title every year/season league holds a championship called "Worlds" and they release a season opening cinematics:
"Legends never die" (2017)
"The Climb" (2018)
"Rise" (2018)
"Awaken" (2019)
"Phoenix" (2019)
"Warriors" (2020) - has Vi and Cait in it
"Take Over" (2020)
"Breathe" (2020)
"Burn it all down" (2021)
"The call" (2022)
"Star walkin" (2022)
Seasons culminate in a "super bowl" style grand final which has an amazing (half) live opening ceremonies and performances - you should definitely check:
- Opening ceremony "Worlds" Finals 2018 - cool CG and live mix
- Opening ceremony "Worlds" Finals 2019 - this one is off the charts!
- 2020 can be skipped, because of C19 it was so so.
- Opening ceremony "Worlds" Finals 2021 - this one was before Arcane release so it takes us to Live arcane world, must watch
- Opening ceremony "Worlds" Finals 2022 - just dropped a few days ago
Then league of legends have game skins, but they have connecting theme and own lore/universe. For example in one some characters are members of k-pop/j-pop band, so Riot made a whole virtual group K/DA (pronc. key-dee-ey for kills/deaths/assists) and released outstanding music videos, you should checkout:
K/DA - Pop/Stars (their debut song)
K/DA - The baddest
K/DA - More
K/DA - Villain
K/DA - Drum Go Dum
K/DA - I'll show you
There's similar skin themes like "Sentinels of light" you can check out or at least "I’ll Find a Way" music cinematic for it.
Or "Star Guardian" where characters are in a "sailor moon" situation (jinx has a star guardian skin too), has many cinematics but you can at least check "Light and Shadow ", "Everything Goes On", "Burning Bright" (with jinx as star guardian)
And there is also "Wild Rift" which is a mobile version of LoL game that has 25+ own cinematics like "You Really Got Me", "Never stop me", "Almost home", etc.
So this is roughly half the cool stuff, there are also:
a) "Character trailers" like you saw "Get Jinxed" for Jinx, but there's for many other characters.
b) Also location trailers (search keyword "Tales Of Runeterra") there's about 13 or so of them introducing each region including Piltover.
c) Game events, like "Ruination", where there's a mini story told over 4-5 cinematics connected with events that were happening in the game.
d) As well as just lore based promo (really really cool) cinematics like "A new dawn", "Twist of fate", "Kin of stained blade" etc.
All in all there is probably over 200+ of various cinematics similar to the ones you saw :) But you should definitelly check the 30+ I mentioned above, you'll love em'!

wild rift is the mobile game for league of legends. You're correct that most of those characters are from different cities / regions in the world. You should really take a look at the cinematic trailers on the official channel, as well as the tales of runeterra ones. They 100% don't spoil arcane but they will give background about the other regions
I dont know if you were ever told or responded to requests about Arcane:Bridging the Rift. Its a 5 part youtube documentary series on the making of season 1. Its amazing and a real look into creative struggles and triumphs. You dont have to react to it but i would love to see you watch it. Thanks anways for the awesome reactions

I was so happy to hear Warwick's howl and hunt audio in the season 2 teaser. So looking forward to it in the next installment and hopefully a new skin to add in game.
Huh.... I wasn't really expecting you to revisit Arcane and RIOT (The world of Runeterra). You just opened up a HUGE box of worms. The scope of this world is massive. Hundreds of characters and a dozen locations. Frankly, by randomly choosing a cinematic, you were lucky to see ANY character that you are already familiar with. People who know more than I do can explain stuff. If you want to see more about the "fox girl" (Ahri) then check out "A new dawn" cinematic. it's one of the earlier cinematics and shows the original (furry) design for Ahri. There will be more new characters for you and more questions, I'm sure. I'll re-iterate... this is a huge world and you could react to 100 different teasers / cinematics / previews / etc. and still not see it all.
As an interesting fact, the big guy with the shield is named Braum, and in the game he is voiced by J.B. Blanc who also was the voice for Vander in Arcane.
Really recommend to check out Necrit's videos if you want to learn more about the world. Sometimes he get things wrong, but there are so much he covered when it comes to league lore. He has some videos that can introduce you to the world. "Story of League of Legends Explained" and "The World of Riot's MMO is Already Done" are good places to start.

Wild rift is the mobile game, and this is a bit confusing but in the early years of League of Legend the lore was that we the players were summoners, and we summoned those ancient legends, like jinx,vi,viktor,jayce etc.. in to the summoners rift to fight and put an end to disputes instead of waging wars, so the field where they fight isnt piltover,demacia,zhaun.. its is an "arena"
What is the bar you set for spoilers for Arcane Season 2? It's honestly hard for us to deem what may be a Spoiler and what may not, as we know pretty much nothing about what S2 content will be (whether it's a continuation of Arcane season 1, or a different isolated story with different characters). I would say that the general videos reactors react to would be safe (very very minor spoilers at m,ost, depending on your definition), as most are music videos with varied ingame characters fighting, similar to this Wild Rift trailer.
Very good question, sputnik! I guess I really mean anything that may 'spoil' events that may take place for / change characters that are in Arcane! So (hypothetically), if a character in League has one arm but in Arcane they have two, that sort of things XD (sorry for the strange example)!
It seems interesting during the teaser trailer, you can hear a beastly roar at the end and it sound like Wolf.
Also during Wild Rift is a mobile game that have LOL format but handle for playing instead of being on PC.
TBH, deciding what is and isn't going to spoil stuff for Arcane is a massive enterprise. Arcane and LOL share universe but not necessarily timeline. Things have gone different directions already and LOL lore is so huge that is hard to guess how much are going to include in the show because certainly not all. Looks like they plan similar projects to Arcane in the future, so maybe you don't get a spoiler for it but you get one for a series that doesn't exist yet. This is really difficult 😅but I do want you to react to LOL videos. I'd say you're mostly safe with videos like this one and Get Jinxed.

Hey Veggie, that rhino that you mention from “get jinxed” actually IS in arcane. It is a stuffed animal under the bed in the scene from episode 2, when the enforcer is searching the last drop. Fun reference. Love your content mate!
Characters here that might show up in arcane are the robot (Blitzcrank) who was created to help the Zuanite people and Camille, the leg lady (from Piltover), whose family is tied to the hexcrystals. A character who is not in this trailer, but who might show up is Swain (he has his own mini trailer if you are interested), who is a Noxian leader. It looks like Arcane season 2 might show some of Noxus considering Mel's mother was in Piltover trying to get weapons to fight some "Noxian man who doesn't believe the score is settled yet" after killing her brother. Swain has something with ravens so I hoped the ravens in season one might be foreshadowing. Then again. Ravens are also symbols for rebirth and change which might just be a nod to Jinx's story in season one.

I think in Season 2 the Characters will more be like in the Game: Jinx becoming crazy, Vi joins Cait as enforcer, Cait becoming the Sherif of Piltover, Singed and Viktor get her "Final form" and Warwick enters zaun
The most interesting thing about those who don't play league of legends is that you can't see that at the end of the teaser he gives exactly who will come next season for the music that plays at the end of the teaser, the song is the same of the cinematic warwick the wrath of zaun.

Would really love to see you check out more; Awaken (has Riven), Warriors (has Vi+Cait), A New Dawn (has Ahri the fox girl). Necrit’s “The World of Riot’s MMO is already done” is an amazing exploitation of the world. Schnee is also a creator that has made fantastic analyses of Arcane (although there are one or two minor spoilers somewhere in his videos).

People here already suggested the Necrit videos about the MMO, where he talks about all the regions of Rune Terra. But Necrit has a video of the time line of Rune Terra that I think is interesting also. All the History of Rune Terra from 10 000 year ago until present day.

Jinx is basically Powder`s toxic coping mechanism for her trauma, her way of reclaiming the shitty luck and reputation that always haunted her before and using it to get back at all whom she feels abandoned and betrayed by.
If you feeling up to and want to know more about the universe you should check out a youtuber called Necrit. He's the godfather of League lore and covers everything. What you whatched in Arcane is probably only like 5% of the world. Anyways welcome to Runeterra!!

Wild rift is the mobile version of league. This trailer was just a bunch of action showcasing the game map. So nothing canon here, just a bunch of champions from different places fighting each other. Blitzcrank the robot is in Zaun when Jinx teleports him.
We may see him in Arcane with the blade legs lady. The Shadow ninja and the wind samurai are from the same region, Ionia.

There are some specificly MMO-related themes, but mostly he just describes all of the regions.

Wild rift is like League of Legend’s mobile version that Riot finally made and yes they are in different cities, well correction regions.
The blonde hair girl name is Luxe from Demacia
Mitsurugi guy name is Yasuo is from Ionia
The robot guy is name Blitzcrank, he is actually from Zaun
And Heimerdingers cousin lol name is Teemo, he is a Yordle part of the same species as Heimerdinger and no they’re actually not related.
Leg woman name is Camillia and she’s a robot from Piltover. She could potentially appear in Arcane as a side character but who knows.
The place they are fighting in is not Piltover, it’s just the wild rift game map.
If you want have more theories about Arcane then I can give you a popular one. There’s a character named Warwick from League of Legends, he used to be a human until he later turned into a beast by Singed. The theory is that Vander could potentially be Warwick, there’s a possibility that Vander didn’t die but got unconscious and Singed made him into a subject he can use. You should check out the League of Legends trailer of him and then the Wild Rift one.

You would definitely have a good time reacting to the League cinematics (both the PC game and those of Wild Rift, Legend of the Ruined King, or Legends of Runeterra, all games of the lol universe). They are all amazing and go through different animation styles, plus they explore different regions, of which some are related to Arcane characters (for example Noxus, the place where Mel Medarda comes from).
And don't forget the videoclips of the bands Pentakill, K/DA and True Damage. I understand that any cinematic exclusive to the League universe has free use on youtube, so they wouldn't demonetize your videos.
The guy with the mustache, Braum, is probably one of the most beloved champions in the community, as opposed to Teemo (whom you called "Heimerdinger's cousin"), who is the personification of Satan.
Wildrift is still Legaue of Legends, it's just a different title for the mobile version of the game, but still same characters/story
"You really got me" Cinematic is just a trailer of the game and its gameplay(5vs5) it's not really canon in-universe.
I would want you to react to Awaken. Also Warriors but that one probably does have spoilers for season 2 so I don't really recommend it.
Given how much you love Powder (you are the one video "reactor" that almost never quit calling her Powder, not Jinx), you should watch the Imagine Dragons Official Video. Not only the song contains an amazing rap section (not in the show), but the clip is made by the studio that did Arcane, and contains only previously unseen material concerning primarily Powder/Jinx. Amazing visuals, as in the series.
