I’m currently doing it as I’m commenting. I have to take the shock out but I’m having problems lol. I removed every plastic part on my front end… I’m crying rn
Is there anything on a can am that isn’t costly$$$ why did my fan motor fail at 800 hrs??? I’m thrilled with engineering of the engine but the ancillary crap is nickel and diming BS. When I first started the video I thought he was showing a tow out of the woods. Brought back my fond memories of last weekends tow of my outlander whose engine overheated coating me with a nice warm mist of antifreeze. The mosquitoes loved it.
I don't think Can Am engineers could have made it anymore difficult to access the fasteners for this job if they tried. I'm an engineer but I also have been wrenching on stuff since I was 7 or 8 years old - its not hard to give some consideration to servicing what you're designing.
Those OEM fans are garbage. The fan motor can be swapped out with a transmission cooler fan for a fraction of the cost. Amazon or eBay 12V 80W transmission cooler fan. You get the whole assembly, so some dismantle is required.
Do you know if this process would be similar on a 850? This is the only video I can find on a newer gen and really don’t want to pull my rad
I would think so ….. but it’s probably more crowded up in there.

You are so right!
Hey do you know if it would be the same process for a 570?
I would think it would be the same 👍🏻
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Do you have a part number for the fan?
Should be 709200563.
That should be the Can-am part number

Cool, thanks for the info!
