The #1 thing I've loved about Karate Combat is that you DON"T have the soap opera drama we see in UFC. I like that it isn't about the ego of the fighter, but rather what they do in the ring. I hope Karate Combat doesn't try to bring more drama and trash-talking to the show. I want fighting, not bitching.

Alejandro brugals win was tough. from kumite to a win like that over a KC vet? that's crazy 42:50 crowd getting hype as hell for him la república dominicana está orgullosa
this is so sick and they uploaded the whole event on here for free Karate Combat doing it right with real nice production values, under ground kumite fights =D
I think Edgars Skrivers is exposing flaws in Karate Combat's rule set. The standing clinch and ground game is so incredibly limited that they should do away with it altogether, imho. Fighters very rarely engage in any inside/dirty boxing of significance and the Thai plum isn't allowed. Once someone gets top control or in a standing GnP situation, 3 seconds literally gives the dominant fighter a window to land 2-3 strikes of import, if that and there's obviously no time or need to advance position for a submission because those are not a thing. So what we're left with is very unsatisfying clinch or grappling situations that need to constantly be broken up by the referee. Furthermore, a crafty fighter like Skrivers can spam clinches and takedowns to avoid engaging in the pocket while tiring out his opponent. Smart... however, it also kills the pacing and excitement of the fight and it becomes something quite unlike "karate combat" which is what's being sold here. Outlaw the clinching and takedowns and remove the GnP on the ground unless it's against the slope of the pit.
Bruno Assis has changed a lot, he became better than ever starting when he fought Gabriel Varga, he improved so much in technics, accuracy, precision, and mental toughness, he can be a picture of this Karate Combat changing a lot now from the time they had started this professional combat Sport and show, this Karate Combat is becoming better as time goes
At first the ground and pound rule got me shocked, never thought of karate match adopting MMA rules. Yet I saw no submission, so thats probably what differs it from MMA
@@diggie9598 ufc is all about wrestling /bjj. It's gay. Karate combat has better rules. More punches, more kicks. Final round was boring, all take downs because can't punch or get punched, wresting is for weaklings. You get stabbed in street anyway. Keep dreaming.
Honestly it’s a really cool event that has the audience somehow owning it. All the best MMA Guys are on it like legends who never support anything. It’s got rules and a wall and crazy awesome pay scale. You get paid to show up and paid if you knock the fighter out. It’s a total gong show circus and it’s more real and entertaining then all the other leagues I can’t stand. It’s super cool. Love it. For Real. It’s got a 4th round even so like you can’t beat this. GSP and Bas??? Awesome. Imagine the feeling there. It’s not a stadium and the commentators are unique.
I told you guys her leg was compromised after the first round and she could not get off like she normally would. What a great game plan for the Brazilian fighter.🎉
Who is Robin Black and what exactly is his job title in Karate Combat? His little screen time seemed pretty pointless compared to Lyoto and Bas’s breakdown.
Ok...right off the bat...her name is Li Lishan ...not linshan or lingshan...pronounced Lee-Shan ..second is...either your refs need training or rules need clarification, you say ground and pound is fine as long as long as the striker is not kneeling etc. but Tim Ha was downed and his opponent was fully standing and landing, yet the ref broke it up and Tim Ha was allowed to stand up? Yet what bothered me most was that no one told Bas he had his headset on backwards the whole time😂 on a positive note I really do like the originality of the different rule set a different pit set up and Jay Leno's chin on Zahng Kui!

I understand the reason for going to the lighter gloves. You get more knockouts for the spectators. However, the old gloves had lesser chances of accidental eye pokes from occurring, imho.
No split decisions no draws. It’s like they got rid of all the crap ruining martial arts. It’s simply the best. It’s not perfect but that’s what makes it perfect!!!
You guys never mentioned in the main event, the Brazilian fighter compromised her leg with that calf kick in the first round by kicking it over and over not full strength, but just over and over that one her the fight! And I haven’t even seen the end yet, but I bet she wins🎉

Never mind I found it on mma junkie. Dec 15 with a sick main event
Get rid of Robin Black he's a joke
Okay
It was my first time watching this, and I loved every minute! 🥋

These rules make fights way more enjoyable. No dry humpers for minutes on end. Mt kickbox and karate combat where it at.

It's average kickboxing. Nobody thinks it's "karate"
This was awesome more combat sports need mainstream love
I would like to see them fighting in the Gi top. But these are great fights.
Someone needs to use this pit idea in MMA it's awesome!
That's awesome to see KARATE COMBAT TOKEN going to the moon soon

UFC needs to put Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier on the event posters like THIS BIG!
This is great fighting, I just don't understand why the arena is so dimly lit? They need more lights so we can see what is happening!
Great fights
I really dig this stuff.

I’m enjoying the hell out of this karate though
Keep an eye out for where the dude who wraps the belt around the winner stands while the decision is being announced....😉
When Bas Rutten tells a story about using a move and says "yes I used it, and I dropped a lot of people with it" 😂
