Dimash was told by the world's best that he wouldn't have to compete with children. It's against his culture. It was the only reason he agreed to be on the show. Since they made sure that the contestants didn't know who else was there, he didn't know he would be competing against kids until he accidentally ran into Daneliya who he mentors. That's when they found out they would be competing against each other. He bowed out. He reminded RuPaul of this but it was edited out along with most of his performance. They thought he'd give up his principals for money. He didn't. The performance you just reacted to was from "The Singer" 2017. It's a Chinese singing competition.
Wow that's amazing I have so much love & respect for Dimash. I had no idea that happened and I'm so happy he didn't give his principles for "money" like most would
▶He looks small + very young, but is a lean 6'3", then 22, now 24 -invited from Kazakhstan to compete here in China's "The Singer" & blew them away w/each performance & his *6* octave range & is now famous in Asia & becoming globally famous!
▶Has huge global sold-out concerts, incl. playing many instruments (like s drum solo ?!), is fierce/dramaric on-stage, but quiet/reserved/serious about music off-stage, is fircely proud of his country's people/traditions/family & folk music & is an advocate for kids (donated his London Concert proceeds to a children's charity, etc!

At the end, the advanced vocal technique:“Messa De Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. Singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!

He has just about completed his Doctorate, a PhD in Musicology, his major in composition, having completed 3 advanced degrees back to back, with honors, while simultaneously maintaining a successful performing career. Until recently, all of his performances and projects (with the exception of his time in The Singer competition, where he returned and went immediately into school) have been carefully scheduled around his university studies. I don't know of another successful world class performer who has accomplished anything like this.

PLEASE react to all his I am a singer 2017 performances because they are all great but DO NOT react to world's best because everybody's acts were shortened and badly edited and they lied to Dimash to get him to perform telling him he wasn't competing with children so when he found out he was he stepped down to let the children have a chance.

Такое ощущение, что девушка не очень чувствительная а мужчина вообще мне кажется пьяный и даже не совсем понял что вообще происходило. Как будто пытался понять но у него не получилось. Извините у меня сложилось такое впечатление от увиденного. Правда я совсем не знаю английского и не понял что они говорили после. Но такую равнодушную реакцию на выступление Димаша я вижу впервые. Единственное, что девушка смотрела как на какое-то любопытное зрелище.
