That one isn't really as hidden as the transition mode. Pretty much everyone knows about it. Not to mention that it is similar to Zeta's "in between" mode (where you put the wheel in between two settings).
Dont cut off the chip's parts, rub them off with sandpaper/amerypaper. Though time consuming it has less chance of mistake.
