- The NFL schedule will be released tomorrow at 5 pm PST, but the league is slowly revealing marquee matchups, with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the New York Jets to open Monday Night Football. Colin Cowherd shares his conspiracy theory on why the league scheduled an Aaron Rodgers vs. Niners matchup in his return from a season-ending injury. In the NBA, the Dallas Mavericks failed to close out Game 4 and fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-96. Luka Dončić finished with 18 points but also committed seven turnovers. Colin reacts to Luka's struggles, then explains why he "screams selfish."

this is such a reach. its a known fact that the super bowl winner starts the season on primetime at home. and the jets 49ers is in san Francisco because it was in New Jersey last time they played and it's primetime because its simply a good matchup that will boost ratings
yeah Colin is off his rocker this week. Its literally the best possible week for the Jets to have this game. You get to check off your furthest travel game when the rest wont be a disadvantage.

As a Niner fan, I noticed that for the the last quarter of the season their pass rush didn't look as good as we're used to seeing it look. Who knows what it will look like with the pieces that have been swapped out

Colin acts like Luca has had the help that the other guys listed had. His best players were Brunson, who has been shown to be a ball dominant guard in New York, and another PG in Kyrie. Saying he’s doesn’t get open like Steph or doesn’t create opportunities like Jokic is unfair. Steph and Jokic are literally 1 of 1. No one gets open like Steph. Luka is just better with the ball in his hands and doesn’t have another star who can help him without the ball in their hands. With that being said let’s go Thunder!!!!
