TFS Naruto really got what bugs me about the Uchiha villains: "Don't you get it? EVERYONE in this village is lonely! Only you idiots go out of the way to make a problem about it!" I wish the normal Naruto had said this to Sasuke specifically. The villains of the Narutoverse try to make either the Leaf Village or the whole world burn, just because they're having a fucking tantrum, or are harboring jealousy, or in the case of Kabuto, are having an identity crisis. Instead of world-ending jutsu, why not GET A DAMN THERAPIST?
g, I forgot how freaking amazing the Story mode of this game was all that anime bullshit cranked up to 11, they really knew what they were doing and the part they had to animate themselves because there was no anime for that yet is also really fucking great this game deserves all the praise
I'm watching there playthrough now and a few episodes in and I was thinking how I should make a compilation of their best moments but I also wanted to show my sister some of it so I went to see if there were already any out there and found this; nice video :D!
I remember someone told me Ino and Shino ended up together, and just thought "is Ino so self centered that she dated a guy who's name rhymes with and includes her own name?" I kinda love and hate that she ended up with Sai, cause it reinforces how stupid Ino and to a greater extent Sakura's obsession with Sasuke. They had a crush on him in basically elementary/middle school, most of Ino's interactions with him were him ignoring her. Sakura on the other hand, the only time he did anything nice for her, during the Chunin exams when Orochimaru's mark activated, it terrified her, so until he leaves he mainly ignored her and tried to kill her one of the only times they've seen each other in like 3 years. I would like Ino more as a character if she ended up with someone more unexpected, like a nicer optimistic guy, maybe Kiba or Rock Lee, cause she was in a squad with Shikamaru who's also a fairly negative guy, so it'd be more interesting if she was like "I'm sick of edgey guys, I'm gonna find a nice fun-loving guy to settle down with." These girls holding a flame for a childhood crush comes off more like they're just stubborn, as if they're thinking "I decided he's the one when I was 7 so I refuse to not love him no matter how many people he kills". At least Naruto obliviously supported and strengthened Hinata's crush, where he's always nice to her whenever he interacts with her, along with her respect for his resolve and always wanting to do what's right for the people he cares about.
Was a bit rushed out the gate, but it was still good. Needed a bit of polish, more cutscenes, a high production soundtrack, split up into 3 games to feel the impact of the story and more refined gameplay as it went on, like the .hack. Sadly Bandai/Namco would never agree to that. But still it was good, I can't wait for the final DLC.
At least with Bulma and Vegeta, they LIVE together long enough to get familiar and at least hate-fuck every once in a while. But Sakura? She was chasing after a dude who has directly tried to kill her at one point. SPECIFICALLY, not "I guess I'll destroy the world and this girl happens to be there" like Vegeta back in the day. And unlike Sakura's husband, Vegeta mostly stays around to raise his kids.
My hope for Boruto was that a new villain would come in immediately, kick Naruto's ass along with all the other parents, so someone who was a badass in the Naruto series but too old to really join the fight helps all the kids escape and starts training them. I figured Kakashi could do that, but then he showed up in Boruto looking the exact same as he always has so either he's younger than I thought, doesn't actually age (I only saw him show up at night, maybe he became a vampire) or he's using Tsunade's technique to look young forever. I suppose Sasuke could've done that too, since he sort of travels the world to make sure nothing like Kaguya will pop up again, so he could have come back at just the right time, saw what was going on, and was like "even I can't turn this shit around, maybe the kids can become strong enough to take back the village if I train them right." I'm pretty sure I stopped watching Boruto around episode 17, cause it felt to me like, while I'm glad they're letting us get to know all of Boruto's friends instead of introducing them later and have them act like villains, by episode 2 or 3 Naruto had his headband, was out of the academy, and training under Kakashi. 17 episodes in and Boruto is still in the academy! By the way, I'm not saying I particularly wanted Naruto to die along with most of the characters from the original series, alternatively they could all be captured, and the villains are maybe syphoning the Ninetails Chakra, and the only thing preventing him from just busting out is "we'll kill your friends if you do! We can definitely kill at least a couple of them before you can stop us!" I just wanted the plot to sort of get moving immediately, I'll admit starting off with a bunch of freshly orphaned children would be really bleak for something Naruto related (especially as an out the gate sort of thing) cause I went in hoping "maybe they learned their lesson and will have as little filler as possible" and the fact they started with a vision of the future supported my hope because then I thought "It looks like they have a beginning, middle, and end figured out, which they say you should know before you start writing a story."
Have you thought of doing a best of for the batman the enemy within series? So many great moments in that playthrough. The last episode only came out like 3 months ago and I'm sure these edits take awhile.

Like Obito's whole motivation for conquering the world and shit, or at least for hating Kakashi, is because he's fake to him. Get a life dude. That's basically what most anime villains are, huh? They're just people with too much time on their hands, plus are very obsessive and dedicated, and have a fucked up view of the world. They just need a social life, though I really can't say shit about that cause the only thing dragging me out of my dorm room are classes and food. At the very least they need a hobby, besides being a villain, try speedrunning or art or fishing or something.

I guess if they figured out a way to basically make her a ticking time bomb, like she'll inevitably unleash her beast in the middle of her village, then alright, that's a pretty good idea, but from what I know Jinchuriki's don't really work like that. Maybe they made her seal SUPER weak, like one shower/bath and that thing is washing off and the beast is out! Otherwise though, did they want to have her as their own Jinchuriki to use in battles and such? Good idea, make someone with loyalties to basically anyone but you probably among the strongest people alive (at some points). Stop and think for a second, if she manages to escape or her village rescues her (which I'm pretty sure they did) now your enemy the Leaf Village potentially has two Jinchuriki, or just think of it as they have one more than they did before. Kakashi killing her is probably the best outcome for the Stone village honestly.
