Mike Rashid, people like you are the real Black Leaders of today. When you can help a Black man get his health (Mind, Body, Soul) back in tact then he can be a great influence to his family, friends, spouse, children and community. When this happens he becomes a great asset to the world. To those watching, Mike is not just helping this brotha lose 100 lbs, he's helping him find and re-align himself with his GOD ordained position in life. When a man (any man) feels weak: mentally, physically and spiritually he will always abandon his position. Which causes a domino effect of negativity to fall back on his family and his community. This training right here makes a man dig deep to find what's been laying dormant beneath all of the self-doubt, feelings of inadequacy, shame, disappointment, mental failures, self-limiting, self-sabotaging emotions and lies (we tell ourselves and others about why we are out of place) to find the warrior GOD created with a purpose of being in a certain position. When a man begins to dig deep he begins to reconnect to the truth which makes him stronger. That's what we are seeing here. Mike Rashid is awakening the WARRIOR in his client. I know because I see the Warrior in Mike Rashid. This routine is one that is calling out the greatness in his client. He's not doing the work for him, he's reminding him that he has the power and authority to summon his own strength to the mat to resuscitate his greatness. All of that heavy breathing is the sound of a man who wants to get back in position. It's the sound of greatness coming out from under the rubble of obesity, fear, lack, physical limitation, unhealthiness, stagnation and mediocrity. This is what it looks like and sounds like when a Warrior is about to emerge. I'm proud of both Mikes. I'm inspired by both Mikes. May iron continue to sharpen iron. #BEINSPIRED

Hey Mike I really applaud you for helping this brother out. I have someone here in Houston Texas that is doing the same thing for me I am trying to lose 82 lb so I can get on the kidney transplant list. And he has me doing a lot of the same CrossFit type training and I've already lost 20 lb! This is what people really need to see on your Channel. Not just the people who are already fit but the people who represent the majority of us in America! Keep up the good work brother I will always be a long time fan!!

I have to say that as much as I am encouraging Mike in my mind, this series is encouraging me to keep reaching for my goals. I just did my first sanctioned powerlifting meet at 40 and now the bodybuilding bug has me. Keep up the hard work Mike! You can do this!

i like the intensity in this!! there’s many people out there who try to focus on time under tension but when you’re trying to lose weight, weight lifting along with cardio is amazing!!! it works much better with slightly faster reps over slow reps

Big mike got better calves then some of these ppl i see in my gym who have been working out for years 😂😂
You do realize calves are mainly genetic.. Some guys have great calves from the start.. Some guys can work them like no other and they wil still lack behind other body parts aka Mike Rasheed and Lary Wheels
It's genetics and body type. Endomorphs will generally have more defined leg muscles, especially calves because the legs have to carry all that weight, thus the reason why Mike's calves look the way they do.

Ectomorphs generally have slender builds that have trouble putting on any kind of mass, whether fat or muscle, but they are generally taller.
Ectomorphs have the highest metabolic rate. It really depends, but your metabolism may only slow down when you get old.... and not even then.
You can be a combo of any of the 3 types, so don't be fixated on one type unless you show glaring signs that you're a _______ dominant type.
The idea of taking Mike under your wing and documenting his journey was genius. Can't wait to see Mike's progress!

Everyone says I can’t do it, that I’m to OLD At 57. But 19 months ago I was 363 lbs . But I’am at a stand still. The lowest I got was 269lbs in the last 24 months . I get discouraged a lot because I keep hitting these was I can’t seem to get over! But big mike I’am not only watching you , I’am praying for you as well ! God bless brother go get it!
