I’m glad that you both survived your time away with one kid each. Lol. Craig is such a good sleeper. He seems to have a really calm disposition too. And I can understand you loving the energy of New York now. While I like the energy of New York, I wouldn’t necessarily want to live there. But there are lots of good places to eat. And it’s always nice when you can see family and friends. I’m glad that you’re on the East Coast so that you can make that kind of trip pretty easily from Virginia. Many blessings!

No Mel you're not crazy for taking the life jacket. I thought about doing the same about 10 years ago, not just for kids but adults too. I live in FL and because flooding happens especially after or during a storm. It's the storm surge caused from high tides that can be more dangerous than the storm itself. People underestimate the power and depth of flood waters too. So having life jackets for all the family can save lives when you have to evacuate your home suddenly.
I guess being a mom and the part of my Marine Corps brain that will never turn off. Always surviving 😎

Each with a child for 48 hours, went pretty smoothly. Mo and sweet little Cree. He's like the little quiet observer with rest just for now. I find beta-fish to kind of still like that, I had one once and like Mo' I kind of wondered if he was alive at times. I really love that mattress; I now know where to look if I want one. Wow Mel you seem to have driven to NY in no time, just like you I ALWAYS PRAY before I travel. It is so nice to see your siblings after having not seen them in a while, your little niece is adorable. She and Cairo are cute little cousins. Girl, I definitely feel you on being in NY, we're Brooklyn girls was raised there myself. Love the Fam, til next time.
