My objective is as follows
Use a 4 channel car amp to enhance my audio output from my stereo amplifier. Also add a car subwoofer to the setup

Ur AV receiver has sub woofer preout which can be connected to input of any amp. But your connection is wrong never take output from speaker terminal and connect to the amplifier, it will blow your input preamp section of amplifiers which u connect. The solution for this is to take audio from FL & FR input from audio source and connect to subwoofer amplifier.
I have a doubt can we connect any powered amp to this preout? Im using a custom sub amplifier for jbl woofer not car amp powered amp and i have pioneer vsx 326 av receiver .can i connect the amp to preamp and use my sub?? Im looking for the correct solution please let me know...
