While it was inventive, so much about the actions of the machines don't make sense. While you can mechanically understand some of them working, how did the blender end up on the guy's crotch? It doesn't have any parts to move on its own.
I saw this movie couple weeks ago before my evening usher shift at Regal Cinemas, and it was really good, I’m glad that didn’t happen in real life twenty five years ago
1:15 I know it was a few seconds in and I could already tell that this is ridiculous, But my god that shit is way to ridiculous and hilarious. Stuff like this shouldn't really happen IRL.
Is anyone else thinking of that Gumball episode, The Virus? It literally does the same thing here, possessing technology and hunting down the protagonists, growing bigger with each device it infects.
I would have preferred a remake to Maximum Overdrive over this. And you just KNOW that people refused to see it simply because Rachel Zegler was attached to it. I've never seen someone sabotage their own career and bottomline so deeply.
Back in the day, hard drives were very very small (and programmers are lazy), so each line of code needed to be necessary, so when typing a date, you would type "87" instead of 1987 because at the time, computer had only existed in years starting with "19" so it was just assumed "87" was 1987. Now theoretically, as the clock turned to the year 2000, computer systems would reference "00", but to most systems, that would be interpreted as 1900 instead of 2000 causing all sorts of issues. This film is a parody of the fear and paranoia around it at the time, but it was a real thing and would have been bad if lines of code were not fixed prior.
Not at all what i thought it was gonna be,lowkey i was gonna just not watch it but then they started dying on stupid shit so i couldnt not watch it at that point 😂😂
Of course the two cringy chicks are the last ones standing. It ALWAYS has to be them in these sorts of slasher flicks these days 🙄 Also, was that SERIOUSLY Limp Bisket at the end? How the heck did they get him in this trite?🤦🏾♂️
2:22 that would actually be more then a few numbers. Planes have 440 passengers within each plane. So 440 in that one plane. And 440 in the other plane. Let’s also add up 16 kill that are “counted” before hand. In total. The carnage count would be- 896 killed so far in this movie. ( yes i actually did the math on this) I also kinda doubt how accurate the counting is for this video, Is should be whoever is killed on screen. Not assume on how many kills are on screen. Like ya did with the airplane scene here.
That's how I felt. Like a discount version of Maximium Overdrive
Lol nothing is worse than that film😅
Good Question.
Maximum overdrive is better
@@rubenelias2198plus it spawned the plankton meme

I feel like if James from Dead Meat covered this movie, this will get the dull machete based on how dumb and unnecessary it was.

You have to understand that movies like these ascribe actual magic to basic machines. It’s the only way half of it makes sense.
Some guys are just that lonely that they'll fornicate with the appliances.
Yeah where’s the realism in my movie about machines coming to life and welding together
I actually winced at that part.
tbf tho, dude got the worst suck of his life

The fact that this movie is about ai controlling appliances to kill people reminds me so much about the mitchells vs the machines!
2:25 The dark adaptation of FLCL!
American Canti.
This movie felt like it was made by someone who read about the 90s on Wikipedia
This movie came out 25 years late.
It's just maximum overdrive but with unfunny jokes
1:54 Poor Danny! (I feel bad this movie flopped recently at the box office along with Mars Attacks which happened back in 1996!)
This movie is just "dumb ahh npcs dying brutally 🤣🤣"
This is pretty hilarious in the most campy schlocky way possible, and #16 was top-tier for being so surprisingly mundane.
3:04 - 3:21
I was literally laughing my ass off when this scene happened.

There is no way the VHS death was actually a death.
Probably uncounsious

Happy New Year! Can you do "The Car: Road to Revenge" and "Trucks"?
Happy New Year! I really need to do both of those! Maybe a whole car week and throw in Furiosa
...well, I will admit. I've never seen or heard of a blender injury to that part of the anatomy.
Add 400 to 500 more when the two planes crash into each other that's a lot of dead bodies.
Space marines

Why did you counted 4 instead of hundreds? 2:22
The movie provides no way of knowing how many people would be on-board, that's mostly just a minimum since we can't really confirm anything
Awesome
Can you do Dances with Wolves, preferably the director’s cut.

what is better maximun overdrive or Y2K?
Very different, but both are fun. This is more comedy, not that Maximum Overdrive isn't hilarious, but it takes itself much more seriously.
Maximum overdrive had better kills as well as no mash up of various machines.
The vending machine kill was definitely one of the coolest
Thank you for sparing me from having to watch this joke of a movie
I mean it's literally a comedy and they lay into that pretty hard. I had a good laugh.
Yeah but even the better of horror comedies don't try this hard to try to get a good laugh.😑 @@CarnageCounts
