I built some copy cats out of 1/8 and 1/4 inch MDF. I cut them using a circular saw with 60 tooth blade and hand saws for the joints. It was a little work but they turned out beautiful and functional. Still on my workbench for over a year and great. The price for materials doesn’t really justify it since the Hobby Zone stuff is very affordable. I do have 6 HZ units and plan on adding more, who knows, I may build some of my own again just for the challenge of it. Great video bud.
Uggghhh... you're making me really want a laser cutter. That came out so cool! I'd definitely add magnets, not because they seem necessary.. I just have an almost unhealthy fondness for magnets.
Ha, yeh if I didn’t have to go in a drill holes I would just add the magnets. Also just wait for some upcoming videos...lots of laser projects and reviews!
Very nice system! -What is the license of the files you sell? Am i allowed to make the products, and sell those to the local hobbyists in my area, or is it personal use only? Thanks!
Great project. My son is into Warhammer. I am still setting up my K40. Maybe this will be a good first project. I look forward to seeing what you do with the Warhammer stuff, you have talked about on the podcast.
I don't know if you are still monitoring this video. But I have recently got a laser cutter and bought the plans for this organizer. I have most of it cut but I was wondering if you have plans for the 3 drawer pictures with the organizer to go with the 2 drawer one?

questions, i just bought the plans. what are the standard size sheets you used for the ply? my D1 has a cutting area of about 20x20 (ish) and are the templates set to work on a table that size? Also what size paint bottle are you using? ( GW or Dropper size)
I want to buy the project in your webpage, but i have question, can i make it on "ortur master 2 laser" and your plans is ready to put in laser? Very cool chanel, waiting for next videos:)
I have a glowforge and seriously need this stuff my craft room is a complete nightmare!! Can you please send me the cut files for these in svg format>>??? PLEASE!! for 1/8th inch plywood.
just wanted to let you know there were some issues with your latest giveaway. One of the youbtube links is down ( or linked incorrectly ) and your instagram is also missing. thanks.
Ha no worries at all! The Hobby Zone version was in metric and I used there starting dimensions. When I flipped it to imperial there was some nasty fractions so I left it in metric
Metric is so much easier when you are modeling. I use imperial when working in the shop, but if I'm modeling something especially something small it's metric.

I agree about wanting a laser cutter.... just hard to justify the cost for me... love the design

Really cool! I like how you based them all on one measurement and then just did multiple of that one unit.
Thats a neat little organization system. Gonna have to check out your files.

Not trolling just curious, but why using metric instead of imperial (you're in the US if I'm not mistaken ?) ? Great work !

@@walkermckaeg1627 Good call! Yeh working with mm is way easier then trying to figure what crazy fraction you need a small part to be.
