@@megtrix3647 Those are the better weapons atleast. I got the shotgun for Vepley (lotta can use, but its questionable if its even better then event weapon at max) and the Sniper rifle, aka the 2 worst weapons lol. So I wouldnt say your luck is too terrible. It could be worse! haha.
I don’t think people understand that the point of getting 30 pulls is to get you closer to a character. Obviously you aren’t banking on getting a SSR in 30 alone.

But if you need a limited one it's not about "chance". You pull until you get it and that's it. 30 tickets get you closer on that linear line, this weapon/doll, or the next. Where I see a lack of judgement in the vid is "if the next doll is...", like it matters if we can't trade them for pulls anyway yet. So even if the next doll is Klukay, 900 points will be worthless for that anyway. I will probably trade points for weapons I miss. First copy is worth a lot.
Summoning on weapon banner is just not fun. U only pull weapons and of u loose pity, thats an abundant amount of 100% useless pulls u did. I did on Suomi Banner and highly regret
imo characters are all that matters. they bring new and refreshing gameplay that weapons do not(weapons can still bring forward new gameplay but not even close to a whole character.). plus even if it makes content more difficult i'll still get to play the game normally instead of ez mode. win win.
Wrong buddy SSR Weapon = more damage more dps higher numbers in later endgame stages mate. And not all SSR Characters Kits are great or viable at all mate therefore making them useless and not worth pulling at all buddy duh 🙄
This has to be the absolute best form of currency for weapons I’ve ever seen. In other gachas, this currency shop is usually tied to weapons as well as other things in the shop such as more pull currency etc. I’m glad it has its own shop
I heard that Mosin's damage just about triples with her signature weapon, so that's good for people who use her. I think I'm personally going to exchange for QJ's weapon, though.
Yes i am using mosin nagan and got samosek. And dam her dmg increasi drastically. His widio argument about purple wepon can do same as SSR weapon is 100% bullshit.
Just took Golden Melody and feels good. Considering the amount of hard content we have before we hit much stronger dolls so there is a good point to starting up minmaxing already
Smart thing is always middle ground. You need 2x golden melody 1x Planeta for multiple teams and 2x Sniper Rifle for frost (one can be signature or both standard) for end game if you are f2p/low spender. But you don't need all of them from the start, only one that you use at the moment. And no sr aren't good enough they are quite a garbage.
Just exchange one for ur main dps then save the rest if u want the summon exchange in the future. We don't know when they will add that exchange, so might as well make ur life easier now and still have something in the future
OK, 30 summons vs one guarenteed SSR that I have use for? I think thats 'standard' for a shop. haven't worked out the math for an average random SSR yet. But pulls in this game seem worth less than I'm used to maybe from all the junk weapons. so I'm PRETTY sure the Weapon is a better deal.
Had to grab Tololo weapon since she’s my main. Managed to get Suomi weapon AFTER I got Sabrina’s from summons. For me is it doesn’t say 100% odds are I’m losing the 50/50 or whatever rate they say.
- For 5* weapons, I have Unspoken Calling, Heart Seeker and Planeta - For 5* characters, i have V1 Suomi, Mosin Nagant, Sabrina and V2 Vepley. Aside from these, I use V4 Cheeta, V6 Lotta and V1 Nemesis frequently - My future pull route is probably something like V1 and ideally C1 Macchiato > Dushevnaya > Klukay > Springfield in terms of priority, and I will use my standard selector on Qiongjiu - Golden Melody is obviously really good, but I don’t yet have another strong AR unit until the standard selector comes into play and I own Planeta already. I was thinking of buying Samosek and using it on Mosin Nagant for the moment, then giving it to Macchiato if I can’t get C1 or Dushevnaya if I can, but I don’t really know how good Mezzaluna is on Sabrina compared to other options. I mainly use Heart Seeker on Lotta as my primary AoE unit for the time being since she synergises extremely well with Suomi. Mainly worried that my account will be too Sniper focused so I should fix my weapon situation asap
It comes to, weapons that are on the standard banner (that we will continue to get a lot of pulls for) VS targeted summons that will allow you to get limited characters/weapons. So yeah, early on it might sound like a good deal to grab some of these weapons, but later on I think you're going to regret it. Cause you'll get those weapons soon or later from standard banner, while targeted pulls comes in extremely limited amount.
You only get about 25 standard pulls a month going forward, and about 70 targeted pulls (assuming you're not spending collapse on standard pulls). The launch flood of standard tickets is drying up rapidly. Unless you're planning on pulling weapon banners, you aren't going to be getting many of these, and if you do care about weapons enough to pull them instead of characters then these shop weapons are a bargain.
A rate up SSR weapon is not worth 2 Standard SSR weapons, not even close. The only exception is if you already have an SSR weapon for the 4 characters you use. If you don't already have SSR weapons, then buying the weapons is actually the best value, at least in the short and mid term. Understandably, many have a strong bias towards characters, and while 30 pulls ain't much, it's something.
I'd be more inclined to go for pulls if these welfare weapons were like in HSR where they feel watered down compared to the "real" light cones you only get from pulling on rate-ups. But that is not the case. Here some of these are actual BiS on meta characters. Klukai's BiS, who everybody should be pulling for because she's cracked, is Planeta. You absolutely are going to want to have at least 1 Planeta, full stop. Qiongjiu's BiS is Golden Melody. Peritya's is Optical Illusion. Sabrina's is Mezzaluna. This aren't the welfare BiS F2P options - these are BiS period. Most F2P right now have pulled 3-4 SSRs. They aren't going to be pulling weapon banners, and they're going to be saving every last collapse for rate-ups. Standard banner pulls now that the initial flood of Access Permissions is used up are going to be from the ~25 regular Access Permissions you can get each month. So that's a Standard pool SSR every 2-3 months. It's 50/50 to even get a weapon so you'd only be getting 2-3 of these weapons a year going forward, and with no control over which ones. Unless your recommendation is that players should be using collapse pieces to roll standard banner instead of going for limited rate-ups, then no, players aren't going to be getting many of these at all through normal pulling going forward. Buying them here is going to be the main way you'll ever get them.
I didnt know they added summons to that shop, I got planeta from an summon and I don't have a QJ yet so im going to save for sure. I do really like Mosin but as of now the content we have just seems to be level gated and it does not require to have BIS weapons and max skills/abilities to clear so im not worried about her gun
It's easy for me, I don't need any weapons anymore. That's all I get from the standard banner. But at least I got the good ones. Got 2 copies of Golden Melody (one from selector), Planeta and a Heart Seaker. So now I run my QJ with Golden Melody, Sharky with Planeta and I got the battle pass one for my Suomi (not pulling her weapon). Team feel pretty great!
@@harleyque1171 I'll be honest, on the moment, I completely forgot from where I got the selector... but I actually bought the package in the shop that comes with I think 60 limited tickets and the SSR weapon selector. I choose my first Golden Melody from the box for my QJ, then got a second copy pulling on the standard banner. I mainly bought it because it's a nice deal and I wanted Suomi. Took me 150 tickets to get her, so yeah, there's that.
I got QJ and Peritya wep from standard pulls and picked up Sabrina's shotgun. I won't use Mosin and Vepley so the only one I would only ever pick up again would be Tololo's wep if I get her and I never pick for copies so I'm in a safe spot I guess.
I m a CN Veteran with v6c6 Klukai. If you're f2p, don't exchange for weapons. If you can get 900 points this early, imagine how many more for saving up until Klukai banner & You gonna need her to at least v3. And Klukai banner won't be anytime soon, MICA gonna release her only when player counts drop/ new game competitor launch. Save up for v3 klukai. She's all you need.
Only care about Klukay, Macchiato and Andoris. S weapons can make them stronger, sure. But I'm fine with A ranks one. I'm f2p and if i can exchange 900 pts with 30 pulls, gonna use it for the tickets instead of weapons. Simple
A vid that I watched before even starting to play this game also suggested to save this currency for pulls, but I just can't stand seeing my QJ with a purple weapon so I bought Golden Melody 😂😂😂.
Normally in any other gacha I would be saving for pulls. But in this one, since CN version is up for a year and we have a solid tier list and know what to expect, I might actually consider taking a weapon, whenever I get that Q-whatever chick.
It is good to guarantee a pull if you need it, but sometimes if there's a very good character coming up, having those 30 extra pulls can be the difference between getting them on pity or not. In Honkai Star Rail I had the exact situation of buying Clara's lightcone (HSR's weapon) since she was my main carry early in the game, and immediately pull a dupe of it in the standard banner on the next day. Having said that, having multipurpose weapons or just something that is the BiS for someone you know you will play for a long time is likely worth it. I'm using Shakry right now, if Planeta is good for many AR users I might get it when I reach 900 of that currency, depending on which character show up on the next banner.
thats a valuable piece of info about 30 pulls i am a mosin enjoyer (hopefully ill get her to V6 eventually) and id love to get samosek, but for now ill just gonna w8 and see how good is my pulls economy, if i can spare 30 pulls on samosek - will do it, if not - well, then not; also got kinda unlucky with 2x heart seekers :c all of the waifus are so cute in this game, wanna catch em all xd

Didn’t the dev said global will always diffrent 1 year patch with the CN? better stats = better progression if you stuck, then what? to obtain the currency is from summoning characters or weapons. if tou can't progress then you probably don’t have crystal to summon something. then how did you get a 30 summon?
It doesn't matter if they add summons. Just like in HSR, you should at least clear out some or most of the weapons, just so you have an SSR of every class. Cause not everyone likes pulling on weapon banners. Then go ham with pulls once you don't need any of those weapons.
My finger was itching to get Planeta (already have Golden Melody) but decided to save up since I don't reaaaally need it. I'm also close to soft pity so let's see how that goes...
I managed to get Mosin's via standard banner pretty early on, I decided to get Qj's prior to seeing this, don't regret it, and I am probably gonna buy the weapon select pack and get one for Tololo while I am at it, the rest I am gonna save for summons
My patented gacha technique is to never spend currency on standard banners, only the tickets once I get to 10, and then save the currency for limited banners (or simply put, only grind for limiteds). All I need to know is, are these weapons drops on character banners? I have yet to pull a gold weapon, but I do have QJ and she's more or less driving my progress right now. Someone else mentioned something, if the summon exchange is for limited tickets or standard tickets, then I prefer to pull new characters over maximizing a single one. Variety in strategy games is better than a single brute force character, at least that has been my experience.
In my honest opinion, hold off until you get to the max number summons on standard where you can choose your SSR character for free, just in case you get the weapon you were eyeing That and wait until you lose the next 75/25 if that
Hmm. This sort of depends on what you are going for because in essence the idea of what you're saying means that only one copy is useful. But an AR like the Planeta if that is what you are thinking of buying is actually pretty damn good on multiple current units and future units, so having a couple built up ones of it to put on different characters wouldn't even be a bad thing. For example, how many people are using Sharkry and Tololo, well both their bis is the planeta. How many people plan to pull on Klukai? Her bis pre v3 is the planeta. You shouldn't feel burned if you buy one and then get another one later.
I pulled a Planeta and then exchanged for the Sabrina one, it might not be groundbreaking but it has auto atk down on an enemy which might help in the next months and dupes are only going to make it better
I got Tololo and Planeta. Suomi and her banner weapon. Game is on easy mode. I'm just missing Qiongjiu from the roster. Now it's just save mode for Klukay and Macchiato.
I got Mezzaluna on standard banner and put on v6 Lotta. it is great. probobly SR level great. early to midgame. Golden melody for QJ wort going for for boss fights, QJ. Also get atleast 1 weapon of Suomi if you have her on the banner. well be using her for atleast 2 years from what i see.
Okay, but how far into the future? And is it limited per month or infinite redeems for as long as you have 30? Because if it is: a.) Very far into the future and b.) limited per month, then redeeming an SSR weapon might be better for now esp since signature weapons are the make or break condition on the harder content
Standard banner has only given me weapons, 2 copies of Sabrina's BiS and Tololo's BiS. So I'm just waiting on their buffs and Sabrina from the shop or spook from the limited banner and I'm golden for that element.
i had gotten Optical on standard, and i was pretty hyped about it seeing the stats on it (25% crit rate on peritya if i read it right? nuts) knowing she also gets better with time, i was alright with it
I pulled Planeta twice from the Standard banner. My main team has Tololo and Sharkly so it benefited greatly my account. But I was really hoping to pull a QJ instead.
i pulled planeta and then eventually pulled tololo for my 100% banner now i need golden melody for qion, are the summon tickets for limited banner or regular or both? i'm currently saving for kluklay.
You can spend 30 summons for a STANDARD weapon, buy you can spend the summons on limited characters. Limited characters are the characters which have their own banners, and you can only get them from their own banners.
Question is when will we get this patch since we already skipped a lot of banners, we may have foresight but we don't know when that specific patch drops due to global skipping content
I got Tololo's gun just to make her as strong as possible. Unfortunately i got dupe of Vepley (instead of new character) and standard also dropped me her gun. And then cat girl. It feels like Groza actually works better than cat girl at higher difficulty, but support attack on aoe is cool (she attacks every aoe target one by one). Usually i don't pull for weapons, but for some reason i thought it's a good idea to get Suomi's gun for a better solo sustain with stats.
psa : this guy seems to be downplayed these weapons a lot, golden melody actually will be BiS for multiple units in fact Samosek+Golden melody will straight up be dps unit BiS for f2p player(meaning they only lose to signature/bp waepon) also Planeta actually BiS for Klukai, her Signature will be better only when she v3+ tldr : 1st copy of golden melody/Samosek/Planeta is worth more than 30 pull unless you are sig weapon puller/BP buyer
Thanks for the tip. I don't know if I want to wait to get QJ's weapon though... so I might grab one and then save after that. So far on the standard banner, the only elite weapon I got was Sabrina's signature... and I don't have Sabrina. So I wish I had QJ's weapon so I can start powering her up to clear contents going forward.
I bought QJ's weapon from the shop before stopping my rolls too. Imo it is 100% worth it to guarantee her the weapon by buying it (ofcourse as long as you didn't already pull it or buy it with money) rather than save for 30 rolls and MAYBE get it in the future like one year later. QJ is still one of the top 4 dps in CN server after a year, while being a day 1 release char and Golden Melody is her BiS. It's just future proof for global. By the time something significantly better comes out, we'll definitely have enough rolls to get them and their signature weapons. In fact it's better than going for Planeta (again, not considering if you got it from rolls) since Tololo/Sharkry are both not as good as QJ in tougher content and all the new banner Elites will have their own rate up weapons designed for their own kits.
Bro, I need serious advice, I reroll end an account that has double Suomi in first ten pull, and then double SSR in beginner banner. Mosin and Sabrina…. Of course I couldn’t get QJ or even at least Tololo. So the choice is between that account or a Tololo + QJ + Pity Suomi. The 2nd account basically got QJ in first 10 pull on Suomi banner then I went to pity for Suomi, and Tololo was from beginner. Im kinda thinking I have to go with the double Suomi no? Cause I couldn’t get QJ always get QJ from the 260 pity selector? I dunno, I just hate Sabrina and Mosin lol.
Double suomi is way better, and its not even close. Why? Because you got her in the first 10 pull. TWICE. You have saved enough pulls for another entire character already Im trying to write this in a way so you dont mald over splitting accounts. Unless you just want to play both, say goodbye to your other one, happily, because double suomi in 10 pulls is WAAAAY better

Its completely up to you and how you enjoy the game. some ppl value having more characters over weapons so for them they would go summons. but there is nothing wrong with grabbing a weapon that u enjoy right now

This is easy… get the weapon I need for which ever 5* I am using. Qiongjiu being the most important. Maybe tololo next… most characters I plan to pull I plan on getting their weapon. Obviously case by case basis…
Hey Volkin, at Prydwen they classify the Lotta SR Shotgun as BIS for both Lotta and Vepley, but I can't really see it beating Heart-Seeker's multipliers on those characters, do you have some insight on it?
Prydwen rank max dupe SR vs single copy of SSR be it Doll or their weapon. Ofcourse a rank 6 Heart seeker gonna out perform a rank 6 Lotta M1 but not many have a rank 6 SSR as of now while most day1 player are at level 34+ and already got Lotta shotty to rank 6.
@trunglequoc542 The thing with the comparison, is that Heart Seeker at base value has 30% conference boost, which already outperforms the value of C6 Lotta Sig, since it caps at around 25 when using 4 charges, so it really doesn't add up, unless the math is something different than what's in my head
And this is garbage take by Prydwen. Max SR weapon is ALWAYS worse by massive atk difference alone, not to mention additional % buff and one more skill. (you have one case in Adonis because she don't attack and need her signature sr or ssr).
With me in this early game a guarantee weapon will boost my progress and it more fun than waiting for month for shop change. and with the boost ssr weapon bring for my team it help me clear more harder content and get more reward overtime. I play many gacha game as f2p and i think at least every patch you will at least almost guarantee the character. So with me the fun from getting ssr weapon early keep me more hype than waiting for future i won't know. Example if the next banner will be character you not like and you will save up and next banner still not good character then you will get bored very soon. So with me there no mistake, it your choice your own game not other so if it fun the just do it don't bother someone else saying it view it as advise and make your own choice.
I already got Sabrina's SG while trying to pull for Ullrid before. But I haven't gotten any free one. I don't pull for weapons yet. I'm getting all SSR chars, first. I just need two now. To be fair, I'm playing for 2 days only, but I have already spent some $$$ in it. Nothing major, so maybe I will get weapons after I finish getting Suomi AND ironically Sabrina, whose weapon I have. lol

i could buy all standard guns because i have all standard characters lol, f2p acc with E1 suomi(whatever the constellations is called), in 270 pulls i got 5 standard characters, 1 5 star weapon and 1 suomi, my luckiest gacha account ever. video was very helpful which gun to choose tho since i am determined to stay f2p on this game, worst case scenario a super low spender(e.g getting a monthly pass every 4-5 months) quick edit: it was my reroll account that became my main account, i dont remember how many times i rerolled to get the account(was rerolling till i got tololo so i can carry myself through early game quickly, QJ/ sabrina was fine too)
I was very lucky and pulled the 5 star signature weapons for both my tololo and qiongjiu. Was about to get one for my other 5 star but saw this 😅 saving now thanks! Lol

I got 2 heart seekers from standard banner, as well as a dupe tololo and a qingjiu in 110 pulls. I'm quite lucky on the character side, but suffering on the weapons side.
Just get QJ weapon if you have her then breeze through all the content progress farther and enjoy the game more rather than waiting for who knows when for 30 summons, that's just my opinion
I have pulled both tololo and qj. Im debating do I get planeta which works best for tololo, sharky and klukai but other than that it doesnt give any dmg increase until you start killing enemies if I wanted to swap it for other character. also for planeta before ramp up you dont have any dmg increase but golden memory has base %10 dmg increase at all times and if I swap it to qj she can use it fully and it becomes %30 total dmg buff with plus 2 stacks from continuation of the passive. so, planeta starts from zero buffs and can get %20 dmg buff plus extra mobiliy at ramp up and every AR user can get full stack by just killing enemies vs golden memory with %10 always active dmg up which I can also swap to any AR user but only qj can get the best of it. planeta has %25 crit dmg while golden melody has %15 attack boost substats too, those are also different, which stat is better? anyone can shed any light Im torn right now and I do want to get one of them right now, progress is more important than ''who knows when QoL update about buying pulls'' thing for me. another thing is I will be using both characters for different contents later but I love tololo more and Im using/ investing more on her now.
For BP 1 copy of HG and Max SMG. You don't have any other ssr HG and all SMG characters have BP one as second best. Other you have to small quantity of characters or they are not even 3rd choice in most cases. If you have max SMG you should look at what you need on specific characters.

Weapons are permanent + they make your dps stronger. There's no guarantee that you'll get a ssr in 30 pulls lmao so I'm prob going for qj's weapon.

This has to be the absolute best form of currency for weapons I’ve ever seen. In other gachas, this currency shop is usually tied to weapons as well as other things in the shop such as more pull currency etc. I’m glad it has its own shop
I heard that Mosin's damage just about triples with her signature weapon, so that's good for people who use her. I think I'm personally going to exchange for QJ's weapon, though.

Smart thing is always middle ground.
You need 2x golden melody 1x Planeta for multiple teams and 2x Sniper Rifle for frost (one can be signature or both standard)
for end game if you are f2p/low spender.
But you don't need all of them from the start, only one that you use at the moment.
And no sr aren't good enough they are quite a garbage.
Just exchange one for ur main dps then save the rest if u want the summon exchange in the future. We don't know when they will add that exchange, so might as well make ur life easier now and still have something in the future

haven't worked out the math for an average random SSR yet. But pulls in this game seem worth less than I'm used to maybe from all the junk weapons. so I'm PRETTY sure the Weapon is a better deal.
Had to grab Tololo weapon since she’s my main. Managed to get Suomi weapon AFTER I got Sabrina’s from summons. For me is it doesn’t say 100% odds are I’m losing the 50/50 or whatever rate they say.
Relateable don't think I've won a single of my 50/50s or even my one 75/25
- For 5* weapons, I have Unspoken Calling, Heart Seeker and Planeta
- For 5* characters, i have V1 Suomi, Mosin Nagant, Sabrina and V2 Vepley. Aside from these, I use V4 Cheeta, V6 Lotta and V1 Nemesis frequently
- My future pull route is probably something like V1 and ideally C1 Macchiato > Dushevnaya > Klukay > Springfield in terms of priority, and I will use my standard selector on Qiongjiu
- Golden Melody is obviously really good, but I don’t yet have another strong AR unit until the standard selector comes into play and I own Planeta already. I was thinking of buying Samosek and using it on Mosin Nagant for the moment, then giving it to Macchiato if I can’t get C1 or Dushevnaya if I can, but I don’t really know how good Mezzaluna is on Sabrina compared to other options. I mainly use Heart Seeker on Lotta as my primary AoE unit for the time being since she synergises extremely well with Suomi. Mainly worried that my account will be too Sniper focused so I should fix my weapon situation asap

It comes to, weapons that are on the standard banner (that we will continue to get a lot of pulls for) VS targeted summons that will allow you to get limited characters/weapons. So yeah, early on it might sound like a good deal to grab some of these weapons, but later on I think you're going to regret it. Cause you'll get those weapons soon or later from standard banner, while targeted pulls comes in extremely limited amount.
You only get about 25 standard pulls a month going forward, and about 70 targeted pulls (assuming you're not spending collapse on standard pulls). The launch flood of standard tickets is drying up rapidly. Unless you're planning on pulling weapon banners, you aren't going to be getting many of these, and if you do care about weapons enough to pull them instead of characters then these shop weapons are a bargain.
A rate up SSR weapon is not worth 2 Standard SSR weapons, not even close. The only exception is if you already have an SSR weapon for the 4 characters you use.
If you don't already have SSR weapons, then buying the weapons is actually the best value, at least in the short and mid term.
Understandably, many have a strong bias towards characters, and while 30 pulls ain't much, it's something.
I'd be more inclined to go for pulls if these welfare weapons were like in HSR where they feel watered down compared to the "real" light cones you only get from pulling on rate-ups. But that is not the case. Here some of these are actual BiS on meta characters. Klukai's BiS, who everybody should be pulling for because she's cracked, is Planeta. You absolutely are going to want to have at least 1 Planeta, full stop. Qiongjiu's BiS is Golden Melody. Peritya's is Optical Illusion. Sabrina's is Mezzaluna. This aren't the welfare BiS F2P options - these are BiS period.
Most F2P right now have pulled 3-4 SSRs. They aren't going to be pulling weapon banners, and they're going to be saving every last collapse for rate-ups. Standard banner pulls now that the initial flood of Access Permissions is used up are going to be from the ~25 regular Access Permissions you can get each month. So that's a Standard pool SSR every 2-3 months. It's 50/50 to even get a weapon so you'd only be getting 2-3 of these weapons a year going forward, and with no control over which ones. Unless your recommendation is that players should be using collapse pieces to roll standard banner instead of going for limited rate-ups, then no, players aren't going to be getting many of these at all through normal pulling going forward. Buying them here is going to be the main way you'll ever get them.

I didnt know they added summons to that shop, I got planeta from an summon and I don't have a QJ yet so im going to save for sure. I do really like Mosin but as of now the content we have just seems to be level gated and it does not require to have BIS weapons and max skills/abilities to clear so im not worried about her gun
It's easy for me, I don't need any weapons anymore. That's all I get from the standard banner. But at least I got the good ones. Got 2 copies of Golden Melody (one from selector), Planeta and a Heart Seaker.
So now I run my QJ with Golden Melody, Sharky with Planeta and I got the battle pass one for my Suomi (not pulling her weapon). Team feel pretty great!

I choose my first Golden Melody from the box for my QJ, then got a second copy pulling on the standard banner.
I mainly bought it because it's a nice deal and I wanted Suomi. Took me 150 tickets to get her, so yeah, there's that.

I m a CN Veteran with v6c6 Klukai. If you're f2p, don't exchange for weapons. If you can get 900 points this early, imagine how many more for saving up until Klukai banner & You gonna need her to at least v3. And Klukai banner won't be anytime soon, MICA gonna release her only when player counts drop/ new game competitor launch. Save up for v3 klukai. She's all you need.

A vid that I watched before even starting to play this game also suggested to save this currency for pulls, but I just can't stand seeing my QJ with a purple weapon so I bought Golden Melody 😂😂😂.
Normally in any other gacha I would be saving for pulls. But in this one, since CN version is up for a year and we have a solid tier list and know what to expect, I might actually consider taking a weapon, whenever I get that Q-whatever chick.
It is good to guarantee a pull if you need it, but sometimes if there's a very good character coming up, having those 30 extra pulls can be the difference between getting them on pity or not. In Honkai Star Rail I had the exact situation of buying Clara's lightcone (HSR's weapon) since she was my main carry early in the game, and immediately pull a dupe of it in the standard banner on the next day. Having said that, having multipurpose weapons or just something that is the BiS for someone you know you will play for a long time is likely worth it. I'm using Shakry right now, if Planeta is good for many AR users I might get it when I reach 900 of that currency, depending on which character show up on the next banner.

If you are willing to spend you can buy a selector with a bunch of pulls and choice of standard weapon in the shop. Do not waste the currency.

It doesn't matter if they add summons. Just like in HSR, you should at least clear out some or most of the weapons, just so you have an SSR of every class. Cause not everyone likes pulling on weapon banners. Then go ham with pulls once you don't need any of those weapons.
My finger was itching to get Planeta (already have Golden Melody) but decided to save up since I don't reaaaally need it. I'm also close to soft pity so let's see how that goes...
I managed to get Mosin's via standard banner pretty early on, I decided to get Qj's prior to seeing this, don't regret it, and I am probably gonna buy the weapon select pack and get one for Tololo while I am at it, the rest I am gonna save for summons
My patented gacha technique is to never spend currency on standard banners, only the tickets once I get to 10, and then save the currency for limited banners (or simply put, only grind for limiteds). All I need to know is, are these weapons drops on character banners? I have yet to pull a gold weapon, but I do have QJ and she's more or less driving my progress right now.
Someone else mentioned something, if the summon exchange is for limited tickets or standard tickets, then I prefer to pull new characters over maximizing a single one. Variety in strategy games is better than a single brute force character, at least that has been my experience.
In my honest opinion, hold off until you get to the max number summons on standard where you can choose your SSR character for free, just in case you get the weapon you were eyeing

Hmm. This sort of depends on what you are going for because in essence the idea of what you're saying means that only one copy is useful. But an AR like the Planeta if that is what you are thinking of buying is actually pretty damn good on multiple current units and future units, so having a couple built up ones of it to put on different characters wouldn't even be a bad thing.
For example, how many people are using Sharkry and Tololo, well both their bis is the planeta. How many people plan to pull on Klukai? Her bis pre v3 is the planeta. You shouldn't feel burned if you buy one and then get another one later.
Man, Sharkry is too good. Both of the AR works well with her. I got the Planeta one on standard banner yesterday.
I pulled a Planeta and then exchanged for the Sabrina one, it might not be groundbreaking but it has auto atk down on an enemy which might help in the next months and dupes are only going to make it better

I got Mezzaluna on standard banner and put on v6 Lotta. it is great. probobly SR level great. early to midgame. Golden melody for QJ wort going for for boss fights, QJ. Also get atleast 1 weapon of Suomi if you have her on the banner. well be using her for atleast 2 years from what i see.
Okay, but how far into the future? And is it limited per month or infinite redeems for as long as you have 30?
Because if it is: a.) Very far into the future and b.) limited per month, then redeeming an SSR weapon might be better for now esp since signature weapons are the make or break condition on the harder content
Standard banner has only given me weapons, 2 copies of Sabrina's BiS and Tololo's BiS. So I'm just waiting on their buffs and Sabrina from the shop or spook from the limited banner and I'm golden for that element.

You can spend 30 summons for a STANDARD weapon, buy you can spend the summons on limited characters. Limited characters are the characters which have their own banners, and you can only get them from their own banners.
Question is when will we get this patch since we already skipped a lot of banners, we may have foresight but we don't know when that specific patch drops due to global skipping content

I got Tololo's gun just to make her as strong as possible. Unfortunately i got dupe of Vepley (instead of new character) and standard also dropped me her gun. And then cat girl. It feels like Groza actually works better than cat girl at higher difficulty, but support attack on aoe is cool (she attacks every aoe target one by one). Usually i don't pull for weapons, but for some reason i thought it's a good idea to get Suomi's gun for a better solo sustain with stats.
psa : this guy seems to be downplayed these weapons a lot, golden melody actually will be BiS for multiple units in fact Samosek+Golden melody will straight up be dps unit BiS for f2p player(meaning they only lose to signature/bp waepon)
also Planeta actually BiS for Klukai, her Signature will be better only when she v3+
tldr : 1st copy of golden melody/Samosek/Planeta is worth more than 30 pull unless you are sig weapon puller/BP buyer
Thanks for the tip. I don't know if I want to wait to get QJ's weapon though... so I might grab one and then save after that. So far on the standard banner, the only elite weapon I got was Sabrina's signature... and I don't have Sabrina. So I wish I had QJ's weapon so I can start powering her up to clear contents going forward.
I bought QJ's weapon from the shop before stopping my rolls too. Imo it is 100% worth it to guarantee her the weapon by buying it (ofcourse as long as you didn't already pull it or buy it with money) rather than save for 30 rolls and MAYBE get it in the future like one year later. QJ is still one of the top 4 dps in CN server after a year, while being a day 1 release char and Golden Melody is her BiS. It's just future proof for global. By the time something significantly better comes out, we'll definitely have enough rolls to get them and their signature weapons. In fact it's better than going for Planeta (again, not considering if you got it from rolls) since Tololo/Sharkry are both not as good as QJ in tougher content and all the new banner Elites will have their own rate up weapons designed for their own kits.

Bro, I need serious advice, I reroll end an account that has double Suomi in first ten pull, and then double SSR in beginner banner. Mosin and Sabrina…. Of course I couldn’t get QJ or even at least Tololo. So the choice is between that account or a Tololo + QJ + Pity Suomi. The 2nd account basically got QJ in first 10 pull on Suomi banner then I went to pity for Suomi, and Tololo was from beginner. Im kinda thinking I have to go with the double Suomi no? Cause I couldn’t get QJ always get QJ from the 260 pity selector? I dunno, I just hate Sabrina and Mosin lol.

Its completely up to you and how you enjoy the game. some ppl value having more characters over weapons so for them they would go summons. but there is nothing wrong with grabbing a weapon that u enjoy right now

Hey Volkin, at Prydwen they classify the Lotta SR Shotgun as BIS for both Lotta and Vepley, but I can't really see it beating Heart-Seeker's multipliers on those characters, do you have some insight on it?
Prydwen rank max dupe SR vs single copy of SSR be it Doll or their weapon. Ofcourse a rank 6 Heart seeker gonna out perform a rank 6 Lotta M1 but not many have a rank 6 SSR as of now while most day1 player are at level 34+ and already got Lotta shotty to rank 6.
@trunglequoc542 The thing with the comparison, is that Heart Seeker at base value has 30% conference boost, which already outperforms the value of C6 Lotta Sig, since it caps at around 25 when using 4 charges, so it really doesn't add up, unless the math is something different than what's in my head
And this is garbage take by Prydwen. Max SR weapon is ALWAYS worse by massive atk difference alone, not to mention additional % buff and one more skill.
(you have one case in Adonis because she don't attack and need her signature sr or ssr).
With me in this early game a guarantee weapon will boost my progress and it more fun than waiting for month for shop change. and with the boost ssr weapon bring for my team it help me clear more harder content and get more reward overtime. I play many gacha game as f2p and i think at least every patch you will at least almost guarantee the character. So with me the fun from getting ssr weapon early keep me more hype than waiting for future i won't know. Example if the next banner will be character you not like and you will save up and next banner still not good character then you will get bored very soon. So with me there no mistake, it your choice your own game not other so if it fun the just do it don't bother someone else saying it view it as advise and make your own choice.

30 summon or multisummon? If summon then its not good since you sacrifice a guarantee for 30 summons which you don’t get to soft pity yet.

i could buy all standard guns because i have all standard characters lol, f2p acc with E1 suomi(whatever the constellations is called), in 270 pulls i got 5 standard characters, 1 5 star weapon and 1 suomi, my luckiest gacha account ever. video was very helpful which gun to choose tho since i am determined to stay f2p on this game, worst case scenario a super low spender(e.g getting a monthly pass every 4-5 months)
quick edit: it was my reroll account that became my main account, i dont remember how many times i rerolled to get the account(was rerolling till i got tololo so i can carry myself through early game quickly, QJ/ sabrina was fine too)

I got 2 heart seekers from standard banner, as well as a dupe tololo and a qingjiu in 110 pulls. I'm quite lucky on the character side, but suffering on the weapons side.
Just get QJ weapon if you have her then breeze through all the content progress farther and enjoy the game more rather than waiting for who knows when for 30 summons, that's just my opinion

Im debating do I get planeta which works best for tololo, sharky and klukai but other than that it doesnt give any dmg increase until you start killing enemies if I wanted to swap it for other character. also for planeta before ramp up you dont have any dmg increase but golden memory has base %10 dmg increase at all times and if I swap it to qj she can use it fully and it becomes %30 total dmg buff with plus 2 stacks from continuation of the passive. so, planeta starts from zero buffs and can get %20 dmg buff plus extra mobiliy at ramp up and every AR user can get full stack by just killing enemies vs golden memory with %10 always active dmg up which I can also swap to any AR user but only qj can get the best of it. planeta has %25 crit dmg while golden melody has %15 attack boost substats too, those are also different, which stat is better? anyone can shed any light Im torn right now and I do want to get one of them right now, progress is more important than ''who knows when QoL update about buying pulls'' thing for me. another thing is I will be using both characters for different contents later but I love tololo more and Im using/ investing more on her now.
hope they add like a gold bar or damascus bar like in granblue to upgrade weapon stars lol
I'll go with a QJ weapon instead. I already have Planeta, which I will eventually give to Sharky. For now, I'm still hoping to get Suomi.

If we’re getting pulls here then better to save. It would be good to see similar video on BP weapons.
For BP 1 copy of HG and Max SMG.
You don't have any other ssr HG and all SMG characters have BP one as second best.
Other you have to small quantity of characters or they are not even 3rd choice in most cases.
If you have max SMG you should look at what you need on specific characters.

I get AR from battlepass, then Planeta from standart and then Golden Melody when loosing 75% for Suomi weapon.
How do you get that currency for those weapons?
