@@alicialyons9901 Biennial testing through NAEP consistently shows that two thirds of U.S. children are unable to read with proficiency. An astounding 40 percent are essentially nonreaders. If you can’t read proficiently, their typing skills won’t matter. If they can’t read, that’s the point of typing? Learning the type is very important - however reading and reading comprehension is definitely more important.
