PS2 looks the best for me. I've heard that some PS1 games have compatibility issues, though. The reason I choose PS2 over PS3 is that the PS3 seems to brighten up the colors a little more than the original image. Also pay attention to the deinterlacing artifacts the PS3 generates on TEKKEN 3.
Ps1 and ps2 share controllers across both systems. PS3 controller is identical aside from slightly different triggers and weighing less due to no rumble. But PS3 does give more choice allowing you to use dual shock 4 and dual sense controllers.

@@TheMoises1213 when ps3 came out there where like over thousand ps2 and ps1 games and next to no ps3 games at launch and need time to build some ps3 titles just like how ps5 had next to no games so they gave it ps4 bc support and hell they didnt get dual shock 3 untill a year after ps3 came out
Even if you use original discs, both the Ps3 and Ps2 are emulating the Ps1 hardware; partially in the case of early Ps2 models. To me the original Ps1 with hdmi mod looks the sharpest, the Ps3 always use a blur filter for Ps1 games downloaded from PSN and has scaling issues with games that render at different resolutions other than 320x240. Is a shame you couldn´t include the PSP, i think it has very good emulation, the biggest downside is having to use the PSP as a controller because the lack of L2 and R2 shoulder buttons.

Mostly because different architecture. They needed a delicated board for PS2. Still disappointing though

Unfortunately my PSP is the 1000 model with no video out😢 I am trying to track down a PS TV to test PS1 games with.
