As a punk rocker who collects VHS, always be on the look out for these distributors, (it's kind of like with punk rock, we have record labels we seek music from) Vestron Video Media Home Entertainment Lightning Video Wizard Video Rae Don Prism Just to name a few, I could go on all day, but those distributors put out lots of great stuff ranging from action, horror, to weird cartoons, etc. Great vid though bub, I love watching these shop talk vids
Thanks man, I love making these videos! I used to have a movie shop, too, those are all great distributors to look out for! I don't have as much knowledge as you probably do, but it's a fun hobby. I personally collect horror movies, just not on VHS. I have a HUGE Terrifier collection I'm about to make a video on. May list it for sale, I need some money for a record I want to put out
@thepunkrockreview Hell yeah man, ill be looking forward to it! I would definitely not consider myself an expert or anything, although I have been collecting VHS for 19 years, I still learn about rare titles and distributors alike, and like collecting records, there are definitely some tapes that are incredibly sought after and expensive, and I fully support any film related material you'd consider doing in the future, would be cool as hell to see a video where films like Suburbia, Class of 1984, Repo Man, Punk Vacation, and other films with punks in them get some discussion, come to think of it, I don't think anyone really has done that 😉
