I'm waiting on a custom baby right now, and I'm always consciously trying to be an easy customer. I've sold some pre-owned babies before and I've had some not-so-great potential buyers (who ended up being time wasters) so I know how frustrating that is. Idk how some customers have the nerve to be constantly nagging their artists or randomly dumping a bunch of trauma on them for sympathy (though of course this can go both ways, I've seen both buyers and sellers do this). My baby will probably be finished in September, and I know the wait is gonna be torture but it will be so worth it!! The artist is amazingly talented and her prices are unbelievably affordable for the kind of realism she puts in her babies!
I get all of these situations. I'm an artist (pen to paper, paint to canvas artist) and I got a bunch of people wanted really complicated art for free and give me a sad story about their life. I volunteer for Hospice where I visit dying patients and my dad beat kidney cancer so they liked to push my buttons on those subjects to get free stuff. When I tell them no they get mad and tell me the most horrible things I'm not going to mention. So I had to stop doing commissions because it was too much. The only people I give free art to is my family and that's because I choose to. My dad had asked me for art but he offered to pay (my own father)! My dad gets free art for life but that's because he supported me all throughout my life. He even went to my softball games while he was in recovery from getting his kidney removed. I don't know how you deal with difficult people. It amazes me. Haha.
You forgot the classic using-their-child-as bait-to-get-free-things. I just love the "now I'm going to have one disappointed toddler for Christmas" when you don't give in to their demands.

Really like your role play . Have two custom...from two different know artists that I bought from the past. I had no problem with the order. It took longer than I expected but that wasn't a issue. ( she has a video on him) The photo doesn't do justice, Misty puts a lot of attention to Detail and love she put into a baby. I have 7 reborn babies from Misty and I love each of them. It is well worth the wait for a baby from my sweet artist Misty. For my custom I pick hair color, and eye color on my custom then l let Misty work her magic on the reborn baby.

People get all excited and don’t think about how they treat others sometimes. P.us, so many people don’t do their homework adequately before deciding they want to start collecting these babies. Long before I decided I was gonna jump down the rabbit hole, I watched so many videos and read so much so I’d kinda know what to expect. Because of that, I feel I have avoided so many situations that new collectors find themselves in because they didn’t know any better. As to customs, I’ve had several done and ones now in progress *wink wink* The bottom line is common courtesy and consideration go a long way. Is it hard to wait for a baby to be completed? Of course! But good things are worth the wait and you appreciate it more when it does get done. As to completely spilling one’s guts…we’ll, people need to be careful what they say and who they say it to. Private info, such as finances, needs to remain close to the vest. Heck, I have a disability s significant visual impairment, but I don’t believe in trying to milk the system or complain about the cross I must hear. I deal the best I can and think I’m a much happier person for it. Life isn’t always fair. Lily is such a cutie pie. ❤️❤️❤️ Silicone never really appealed to me because of the cost, the amount of care you have to take to keep it from being damaged, and the lint magnet factor. I do enjoy watching others with their silicones though. To each their own, and I’ll just stick with my vinyl. 😀🦋😆❤️

I would love those coffee flavors. I buy some wonderful k cups at Big Lots called VICTOR ALLENS Caramel Macchiato. I like them better than Green Mountain and the price is great! I am amazed at how rude and demanding some people can be. I have seen so many people ask for free dolls. It makes no sense! It takes a strong person to be a reborn artist.
