I’ve been left speechless. This video should be on every broadcast channel and every streaming platform. It certainly applied to me. Yesterday’s Sunday Gospel was about the Greatest Commandment and loving your neighbor=my political enemy. John, you never fail to outdo yourself. You’re my conscience. Thank you so very much for this incredible reminder of what Jesus is all about. Love my neighbor.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🔥
Wow! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the way you have poignantly, straightforwardly, and lovingly exhorted us to love and good works. Lord Jesus, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner…May I be transformed by you to be your witness in this world. ❤
What an excellent message of truth and grace surrounding the political climate of division and hatred so embedded in our culture today. Thank you, thank you John.
good morning ☀️ Words & timing once again spot on. Sharing with a handful of friends that feel so defeated with our current authorities in D.C. Grateful and humbled by God’s word and awe~struck that His word rings true thousands of years later~its most powerful advice for 2024’s election.
Thank you, John, for this timely message. As Dallas Willard once said, "The world is a perfectly safe place for us to be, as long as we are in the kingdom of God." True unity and peace are found when we recognize that God is ultimately in charge, guiding us beyond human divisions. Looking back at the political climate when I first became aware of politics in the 1980s, Ronald Reagan and Tip O'Neill come to mind. Despite their political differences, they could meet, share meals, and find common ground. They exemplified how leaders could disagree yet maintain respect, compromise, and even friendship. That spirit seems to have been lost in the divisive climate we see today. My prayer is that our leaders rediscover the spirit of unity and cooperation. May God guide them, bring them to His truth, and remind them of the importance of loving one another and seeking peace. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Romans 12:18 echoes this sentiment: “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.”
May we all lift up our nation and leaders in prayer! Thank you for sharing a beautiful reminder by Dallas "The world is a perfectly safe place for us to be, as long as we are in the kingdom of God." May we continue to pray for unity Thank you for blessing the Become New community Bucky
Thank you so much for this message John and team. It is so helpful to come back to the Truth again and again rather than listening to the media and the world.
Thank you Ptr. John! I am not an American yet as a fellow believer, I have been blest to hear a Christ and Bible Centered message on your present political exercise that has been sorely lacking from a number of Christian leaders in the US! You message can speak to many around the world who are also mired in politics! God Bless you!
Thank you for this timely and excellent message. Jesus left us with a commission to love as He loves us and spread the Good News, no matter what else is going on around us.
Thank you for sharing so much truth but you are overlooking abortion law and transgender issues, which are both very much at stake and of eternal value!
Such a timely and wise reminder of what's really important. Thank you John. Reminds me of what Jesus said to his disciples: "by this all men will know you are my disciples: if you love one another (Maga or Demo!)
I love spiritual leaders who speak about politics as power who wants to be an idol. These Christians with deep emotional attachment to a person they don't even know.
Leadership matters. Authority structures matter. Ask the Armenians. It was consequential in 2016. That's how we got abortion overturned. Thank God. It was consequential 4 years ago. Look at the crime rate and the economy. I also would add: Laws increase when self-government decreases. We have to have a president. We have to pick. Jesus is not on the ballot, but Jezebel is.
Praying God will not allow our country to go down a path of darkness. Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! May God open the eyes of blind to see the truth and facts. May God put a stop to perversion of our faith and subversion of our democracy from Trump and his sycophants. Future of country, our democracy, our freedom, our Constitution, rule of law, unity is on the ballot.
Regardless of governments and platforms, Jesus' kingdom prevails; he even endured the horrible brutality and oppression of the Roman Empire. Whoever leads the United States, nothing can hold back the love and remaking power of Jesus. We're so glad you watch along with us. - Brad

Good Morning Danielle - thank you for faithfully being with us May you have a Blessed Day Bucky
Can someone post where Dallas Willard writes about the power of death being in the hands of human government? What book was John reading from?
As it says in Romans 13 - the government is a servant of God ( coercive power was given to them) , so why think of them as brutal?
