I can hardly believe that I just finished playing through the first route of the Tsukihime Remake in English. For a time, it truly felt like an impossible dream, yet here we are. I first played the original Tsukihime as a young teen, in hindsight, I realize that I were far too young, but most of the darker implications flew over my head back then. It's surreal getting to experience this story all over again as an adult and recognizing how much information I've retained from my original experience in spite of all of the concepts that I didn't fully grasp. I'm truly happy that I were able to go back and live through this tale all over again in my lifetime.
@@ramondee2074 A patch for the emulated version is being worked on and its almost complete. I can't speak for the quality though because im not touching it tilll its 100%
I just finished Arcueid route in the remake and the credits are rolling as im writting this. I may not be a hardcore fans of the nasuverse but im truly happy to have experienced Tsukihime.
1. I will keep my promise. 2. I will never forget Arcueid. I really hope in the future we'll get the "Arcueid Good End" for the remake. And I'm really happy to see her finally be added to FGO!
I’d love to see nasu adapt the manga ending where shiki gets ciel to show him where her castle is and he kills all her seals and bindings and they have a nice happy ending
Arc's Good Ending will never happen in the remake because, you know...even in the original VN, there is NO MOTIVE to it to happen. Like, in one ending, she decided to isolate herself to no hurt Shiki, and in the other, she just decides "no, cut that bullshit, I can resist my vampiric urge anyway". The Good Ending was made just to the guys who didn't want end her route so bad, but there is no consitency, narratively speaking. But the manga's end, aka the which Grey Shoud talked, would be a great surprise, like the Last Episode in FSN, which you just get when finish all the other routes.

I’d be fine if they never add the good end since the main end is actually realistic and a lot more meaningful. Overall, I just like the thought of old content in new graphics and with voice acting.
Arc's route never gets old, still drew me in and hit me as hard as the original. And yeah the amazing work they did with the remake also helps! I miss the manga epilogue though, but I guess it was the right choice to cut it for now so players get to experience it the way it originally was. I hope that development isn't removed though in the long run cause it's really good. (actually, I will be very disappointed if they remove the manga ending forever. Coupled with the Good end being removed in the remake it would be too painful to be honest)
@@uraydikaisviladinata2901 SPOILERS obviously, basically Shiki wants to free Arc from her chains and meet her again before he dies, so he finds the castle where she's sleeping. It's implied in multiple works now (including the remake) that Arc's dreams reach Shiki somehow, and he's quite selfish when it comes to Arc. There's a lot of potential to expand on how he gets to the castle and a lot of lore and characters to utilise more if they want to go that way (Archetype-Earth; Altrouge; Aoko; even Zelretch maybe).
Yes this phenomenon exists. It's called having an opinion. And these things may differ from person to person. I for example like Ciel over Arcueid. It's a very close contest though (at least in OG). Although Ciel had the worst route in the OG VN, her character and the concept behind her were pretty cool and unique. Imo she was a breath of fresh air compared to Nasu's trope bible he loves to utilize. Remake though made me like Ciel WAY more than Arcueid but I generally think that Nasu's writing is at fault here. The additions/changes he made in Ciel's route are a double edged sword for me.
Well, we have a fan translation, and it's perfect. They have only the Arcueid route for now, but until the end of the year I think they will release Ciel's route too.
Already had this as my most played before I even read it but now that I've finished Arc's route and I'm back Sheeeeesh. Got me crying in the car. I appreciate the raw vocal version now as well hearing it with the credits. Finished it last night, lay down to go to sleep after and notice there is a full moon shining brighter than usual, thought it was pretty fitting. Turns out last night was a super blue moon once in 10 years which is wild since I finally understood the subtext "a piece of blue glass moon" with some of the scenes at the end. Kind of an insanely poetic coincidence.
We said farewell to her in a classroom under the moonlight on the final chapter of her route... But we are now once again reunited with her in Chaldea!

遂にアルクェイド・ブリュンスタッドルートを完走しました。
ここでは感想を語り尽くせないほど、
1から10まで面白かったです。
夢中になって毎日読み進めました。
そして最後、
アルクェイドとの約束をキチンと果たし、さよならをして、
この曲が流れた時、
「あぁ、なんてズルい、意地悪な流し方なんだ…」と感慨に耽りながら涙してました……
歌詞も物語を知った後だとまた印象が変わり、本当に良い曲だと感じます。
更に大好きな曲になりました！
Fateもだけど
月姫って全ルート通って初めて完成する”世界観”なのに、どのルートも完成された一つの”物語”なのが凄いよね
特にアルク√の切なさは別格
秋葉ルートと翡翠ルートの方が切ない
ここまで美しさを突き詰めた音楽も中々ない
自分は感動する話とかで泣くことがなくて、泣ける映画とかを見てもいい話だなぁくらいにしか思えなかったけど、本当に感動した時は自然と涙が出てくるもの、っていうことを教えてくれた生涯忘れられない作品。
クリアした当初はグッドエンド欲しかったなと思ったりもしたけど、アルクルートの美しさとか、魅力はこのエンドだからこそなのかなとも思ったり

アルク√を見届けた後の「ここから怒涛の濃厚裏設定編が始まるのだな…」というゾクゾク感も内包してるんだよな。
アルクルートのショックから立ち直れずシエルルートに入るのに一年かかったけど、全ルート回収できて本当に良かったと思える物語だと思った。

僕自身は遠野家ルート大好きで推しも琥珀さんなんですけど、リメイク版のアルクが可愛すぎて可愛すぎて、「好きだから吸わない」からこの曲流れるまでの流れで泣きそうになりました。
