That Shimo attack on Kong with the axe looks kinda like it freezes the axe but also Kong's arm. Maybe the gauntlet is also to help with an injury to his arm.

@@greysenhucek635Well in the prequel comic Godzilla Dominion, he and Scylla get into a fight and it ended with Godzilla whipping Scylla’s ass and causing her to flee, so they are not on good terms.

I was actually thinking that as well but also got me wondering, how did the Kongs learn how to forge chains that strong and considering Shimu's Ice abilities amd sheer size, how are they holding her?
@@danielhegarty8499strength in numbers. Skar isn't strong enough but an army of gorillas could subdue her. Think 300 kongs and what they could do to Godzilla. Grab the tail so on. The charge from breath has to regenerate. Wouldn't be hard to subdue anyone
The size of Shimo is going to be epic. Think bigger than King Ghidora. That tells me those apes that fear Skar had something to do with why she's held captive. I believe Shimo once free will be like Subzero. She uses the ice to freeze Skar and someone gives him a Fatality

At 162.45 meters tall, Shimo is currently the largest monster to appear in a MonsterVerse film, surpassing Ghidorah in height by 3.65 meters.
Who knows what happens with Ghidora. The guy at the end of KOTM credits Jonah had the head. Now in Godzilla v Kong. Bernie, Madison and Josh ran into the head within Apex. Ghidora's head had something to do with how MechaGodzilla was functioning. If Mothra is making a comeback, it's quite plausible Ghidora comes back eventually . I'd like to see Kong interact with Rodan and Ghidora..🤣🤣 not snytime soon though.

Just so you know, it's confirmed in the official novels that all titans have radiation. Although on very different levels. It's more than likely too dangerous for human consumption.

When its big thing surrounded by other big thing fighting other big things it just kinda stops seeming big and starts seeming normal again. What made Cloverfield and Pacific Rim 1 so effective was every shot of the "big things" was designed to communicate how big they were. Generally this was done by shooting from a ground (human) perspective.
That's kinda what happened in the first GvX though. I constantly had to remind myself that Kong wasn't shrinked down for like a majority of his shots lol
But ig it would also make sense why it would look like that as well since they are in the Hollow Earth which is the titans home.
*Ok...her Freezing Kong's arm actually makes more sense for why he needs the gauntlet. Damn she is MASSIVE*

There's little doubt about it. Shimo was the reason why Ghidorah was frozen in Antarctica.
Which wouldn't be possible with Godzilla and Mothra to subdue the alien.

Also Scylla is an ammonite with crab like leg appendages, and there a bio about this Titian from Godzilla 2019 and some of the other Titian’s, it’s pretty cool. Also shimo is reminiscent to a lot of the Triassic and even some Permian megafauna like rauisuchians, Cotylorhynchus, and mekosuchus from the Holocene South Pacific.
Calling it now... Box office wise Godzilla & King plus Deadpool & Wolverine will be this years Barbie and Oppenheimer!

Scylla is never mentioned by name, but his name is visibly seen in the King Of Monsters Movie. under the handle - Specimen : Titanus Scylla.... Alongside Titanus Behemoth and Titanus Methuselah. In that same scene Serizawa mentions that they found 17 known titans so far
Also there is another larger muto distinct, and even another Titian mokele mbembe which was seen on monarch cameras in our post 75 in Sudan, and is a carnivorous sauropod Titan.

That "Crab" beast is Scylla ,Shown on video awakening in the Earlier King Of Monsters Movie. when Dr. Mark Russell was shown all the monsters Monarch had on record, he swipes passed Scylla. I see now they finally decided to use him for battle in this movie

The glow from the spine whip that skar king carries a lot of people said is the crystal that has powers and that is how he is able to control shimo.
That's 110% correct, so that whip is gonna carry him.
The part where Godzilla emerged from the Iceberg is definitely a direct reference to king kong Vs Godzilla where the Submarine was destroyed and with the helicopter hovering

There were parts of it that did sound like G's roar. Actually nothing new. The Heisei series King Ghidora, had a sped up version of Rodan's classic roar.

I’m going to leave my theory on how the movie will play out that way I can come back to it. I think the signal is calling to Kong so skar king can challenge him and get him on his side. Kong finds Suko (skar king son) and is attacked by other kong type apes who try to capture and bring him to skar king. He escapes but ends up going to skar king anyways. He is able to beat skar king but skar king summons shimu. Shimu shoots kong with and ice blast and Kong uses his axe to block it but loses to shimu, breaks his axe, and is injured in the process but manages to escape. Meanwhile Godzilla is out fighting other titans causing him to tire. Godzilla travels to earth to fight shimu but is frozen. Shimu and skar king attacked the surface. Somehow Godzilla evolves and is rescued by kong who they then escape the hollow earth but fight again from their disagreements in the past. Both team up to go fight shimu and skar king and have to beat skar king first in order to free shimu from his control. I think that the whip skar king uses may be Tamiats spine that he obtained somehow or it’s something else and one of the monster Godzilla may fight is Tamiat
I still believe that the pink energy for Godzilla starts off as maybe Skar controlling him. I just don't see why Kong and him wouldbe fighting each other AGAIN in this movie, without some outside influence. To me it also makes sense that if Skar is controlling Shimo why would he not ALSO try to control Godzilla. If he's panning some war with humans or whatever he'd need soldiers,why not grab a Godzilla to fill out your Pokedex along with Shimo?
You do have a point. Maybe when Kong is defeated by Shimo, Godzilla tries to intervene, but Shimo, who once froze Ghidorah, manages to freeze Godzilla easily. Perhaps, Scar King manipulated Godzilla for sometime, but Kong somehow broke the mind control. After knowing what happened, Godzilla is pissed at Scar King and it may explain the scene in the trailer where Kong throws Scar King at Godzilla and Godzilla simply uses his tail to hit Scar King like a baseball.

That giant quote unquote “crab” Titan is actually Scylla from king of the monsters, she may have submitted to Godzilla and got to hibernate, but she was awakened and ate some nuclear energy to become more powerful than ever and just like she did multiple times, she rebelled against Godzilla and fought him, but it wasn’t enough, so she decided to be on scar king’s side and goes to fight Kong and Godzilla to conquer his kingdom but with mothra coming to help him she struggled alongside scar king and a mind controlled shimo and the henchmen in the fight and they are now slipping off the high ground and then after all this time Godzilla finally killed her with his now upgraded atomic breath, and king kong’s quote unquote “Lego infinity gauntlet” is actually the B.E.A.S.T. Glove.

was in walmart , they had a display selling all the monsters but Shimo, and the spider, they seemed to be selling well, also I believe the spider is in KOM so not new ,, skar kings weapon looks more like a skull crawler spine
