    Everytime I watch one of your videos I have like an existential spiritual experience by how intricate and detailed all the traces and pathways and connections are. Also doesnt hurt that the way the refract light is super psychedelic

    This thing has US Gov. written all over it! (I bet there's some conformally-coated mil-spec versions of this HW flying around in air or space, or controlling radar arrays or something.)

    i would like more of just slowly looking at the microscopic circuitry.

    hi, wonder what microscope you could recommend me for doing something similar, I have a few interesting ICs and would love to see if I can find any doodle, also Im sure people in my job would love to see them too.

      My microscope is the AmScope ME580 Metallurgical microscope. I'd say its a pretty decent entry level microscope, and one of the more affordable options, although it will still set you back about $1,000 (AmScope's website usually has a 15-20% discount code you can apply to that though). There is a slightly cheaper option, the Radical brand metallurgical microscope. Curious Scientist did a nice review of that microscope which you can watch here:

      I think it might turn out to be pretty hard to find them for sale as a single unit. I think your best bet would be to find a circuit board that has them soldered to it like the one I linked to in the video. Unfortunately that one is a functional board, so the seller is going to want a pretty high price for it. I got lucky finding this board as part of a scrap lot on ebay.

    What do you type when you search those on ebay?i dont get lucky with older electronics and cant find any that would be nice to get.

      The majority of what I have I've bought from Ebay or the CPU-World forum. There's always something new and interesting popping up every day :)

    Isn't it sad that you can find these boards everywhere in landfill's and junkyard's sporting some very high dollar CPU/DSP's and no one put's 'em to use!!
    At least some people salvage them and sell 'em on eBay.

    I just noticed I haven't got any shorts recommendations from you for like a month now. despite being subscribed. You are one of the very few creators whose shorts I could tolerate. How are you going on those earrings? While I don't need any, I think you could make serious bank on them if you partnered with a jewelry maker. Way better than buying T-shirts or other shitty mass-produced "merch" (while I do understand those those who sell stupid merch are just trying to get paid for what they do).

    • @EvilmonkeyzDesignz
      @EvilmonkeyzDesignz  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've unfortunately been too busy to edit more shorts, not to mention that I've been working on a few longer form videos that I'm excited to wrap up as well. More shorts are on their way though, and I'm glad you were enjoying them!
      If you haven't checked out places like Etsy, there are actually a few very talented people that have already turned silicon chips and electronic components into some nice jewelry pieces. :)
