It's an absolute blast, probably my favorite run I've skied in my life so far! Totally worth the agonizing two hikes, sidestepping, and multiple traverses needed to get here! :)
Haha for sure! It's definitely brutal to get there, but the snow quality and vibe you get standing on top of the ridge looking down on these gnarly chutes is just amazing! Totally worth it!
Thank you! I had a lot of fun this one! Since the hike was so tiring I didn't have enough time to do any of the other Six Senses Chutes. I plan to do Contact and Savor next season though! In the mean time, I do have a video of The Lake Chutes (Zoot Chute) on my channel and that's a super similar run to this one!
@@arjunski Yes, hike to terrain is tiring in breck. I saw your Lakes Chutes video, looks icy entrance. I was there this weekend and bailed out after seeing the icy entrance. Will you be staying on epic next season?
@@dushyantsahoo1804 The entrance was very windblown on the day of recording, though hopefully by now it should be covered! I will 100% be staying on epic for next season and the next few (do plan to switch to Ikon 1 season in the far future), there's no way that after experiencing The Six Senses that I wouldn't be able to continue with epic! These chutes are awesome! :)
@@arjunski Yes, the terrain on the epic pass is really great. I think you will also like corbet's couloir at jacksonhole and chutes at mammoth if you plan to switch to ikon.
Definitely! Corbet's is 100% on my bucket list, though I need to be a lot better before I try that one! Mammoth will definitely happen, and I've already come up with a list of things I'd like to do there including Paranoid Flats (Kiwi and Philippe's are too extreme lol), Hangman's Hollow, Drop Out and Wipe Out Chutes, and Climax. Mammoth looks like some kind of combination of Kirkwood, Northstar, and Palisades Tahoe so I really would like to get there soon especially since I live in the same state as it haha! :)
I thought about doing it like that but ultimately went against it as without all the ridge stuff, the video would be a little under 2 minutes. Videos under 2 minutes tend to not really perform as well so I decided to leave in the ridge-walking (albeit speeding up the footage significantly) and putting timestamps in the video so people could skip ahead to whatever part they wanted to see! Plus I feel the ridge itself is part of the experience hence why I left it in. But your suggestion is absolutely fair, I'll consider doing it for future videos similar to this one where the run itself is rather short! :)
