- The opening day of the season ends in defeat...Unfortunately Wigan Athletic were just better than us today and they deserved the victory. We gifted them two goals from our own errors and that was enough to cost us the match. Forsyth took his goal very well and when we equalised it looked like we had the momentum to go on and win the game.

Great vid as always mate. I think a draw would have been a fair result. Wigan looked a decent side for this league to be fair. I thought it was pretty even. We shot ourselves in the foot by gifting them their goals. We're not far off, we're just crying out for more firepower up front and I'd even go as far to say an attacking/creative midfielder and possibly even a midfield general in the George Thorne ilk from back in his prime days. Someone to put their foot on the ball and say "that's mine!" Keep up the great work bro! Respect 👍🏼
I agree we need 1 or 2 signings to get us to our best. At the moment we have a good team and squad. Wigan performed well today.
@Goalhanger I trust Paul Warne. Give him time, and the ability to bring in the players that he wants and the team needs will come with it. Wigan did play well today, to be fair. We do have a good team and squad, just a few more additions, and we're looking good.

PLay Foz through the middle Collins is hopeless.

That would have been a good pre-season performance. But with the number of changes to key positions we have had this summer, it's going to take a handful of games to start clicking.
Wigan looked decent, so I expect to see them challenge for the playoffs (due to points deduction)
Great video m8. Agree on other comments around a creative midfielder and decent striker but today was about defensive errors. Cant afford any more slip ups or will be off the pace and on catch up

Hopefully Collins was stood close enough to see how a defender finishes. Warne made changes too late in the day because he didn't read the game correct. We were never in it 2 nd half
Pretty even matched affair, whichever we edged! Derbyshire they can play and moved quickly, up to their front men! Derby will be in the top three at the End of the Season!
One thing we need is a new song as the south stand doesnt feel the same😕
