Calli has no problems handling two baby kitties when she has the professional cat mom Kiwawa on the horn as a personal coach.

You can not as cat lover entertain getting two as a thought and not get two. Once the thought enters your head, you're screwed
It's not much more difficult taking care of two kitties instead of one, and in some ways it makes it easier. Double kitten power will be overwhelming for a while (and there's always the problem of them possibly not getting along at all), but on the other hand if they bond then they'll keep themselves occupied playing when you just don't have it in you to keep up. It helps keep them mentally healthy and provides a lot of enjoyment to watch them tumble and wreck the place. 🐱

When I moved out I got two cats because I was working an 8 hour day with a 1 hour commutex2 so I would be out of the house 10+ hours a day 5 days a week. Luckily they were the last two of the litter so they were already adjusted to each other, having never been separated since the womb. I would really recommend two to keep each other company if you are out of the house that long. Now I work remotely though, but I just get to spend all day with two cats so....win win either way.

at 1:36, it is very true cats don't like being left alone, I know from experience both of my cats after I come back home from vacation or something like that or even just after a long day they get very attached to me and my family say when I get home they are meowing a lot when um not at home

Buying a cat in a pet shop isn't that good but at least she frees it. And a second cat is actually a good choice! Mostly when calli is traveling often a friend to play would be good. I would recommend the same gender.

A second cat is good, it'd be nice if she got it early so they get used to each other, i got i second cat after 2 years and it took 6 months for them to be in ok terms, and 1 year for them to start playing with each other.
Cats don't live in societies but they interact a lot with each other, so they do keep company to one another, which makes them less stressed in general.
Unfortunately for me, my first cat had a traumatic experience with a roommates cat, before that event she was really curious and playful with other cats but since then she hates other cats, hisses at them and just generally doesn't want to be around other cats. I figured that maybe if I got a kitten she would be better, and she was a bit. She tolerates the 2nd cat a lot of the time and they do chase each other around, but the 1st cat gets upset pretty easily. Thankfully the 2nd cat has no cares in the world, she just runs around and is happy 24/7
@@ticklord yeah, my experience was similar, although my 1st one was really frisky from day one, took 2 days for her to lay on my lap after she arrived and she was always aggressive toward animals that weren't human, but now she plays a lot with the 2nd, which just makes me really happy to see :)
