Amad is class. He has earned an extended run in the starting lineup on RW. Control, class passing and works his socks off. He is the antithesis of his competition in that position.
I've been heaping his praises ever since seeing him play for Sunderland. I don't know why it's taken this long for him to be given that RW role in our team

As a French United fan, and as a follower of Lille in Ligue 1, I've been fuming at the fact United haven't really gone for some of Lille's players, especially CBs like Gabriel and Botman, finally they've learned and got Yoro!
Ruud already having a significant impact on our attacking players. Both goals were so well taken. Sancho & Mount looked lively Amad & Yoro were outstanding while our youth led by Collyer impressed aswell. A top performance all round.

that first tackle from yoro to put it out for a corner was simple, but great. onana should have had that all day but yoro had the split second awareness to know onana hadnt commited and he had the composure to clear the danger. in the same situation you would put money on maguire to wait that split second and let the striker in.(or have a brain melt and hammer it in himself😂😂😂)

What a finish from Hugill. Amad's transformation since his loan spell with Rangers 2 seasons ago is night & day. Cracking little player now, that Sunderland spell really helped him.
Very concerned for what our future looks like. The XI we fielded were mostly sub-par fringe players last season, but worryingly it looks as though they will be our sub-subpar starting XI this year.
The crew put on an excellent overall performance.
Think Diallo and Mainoo will be an electric partnership!

Nice to see a United defender keep the pace at the back like that. At 18 years old, he already looks so confident as a last ditch defender. We gave away so many chances last season, and it seemed like everyone bar the defence were actually worried about being beaten on the counter. Yoro looks like our boy! Imagine him and martinez on the build up in possession and leading a high press off it…
Edit: after a second look, Onana’s body language said ‘Er, pretty sure I was supposed to grab that’ but yoro was like ‘you’re joking, right?’
