The government that has never increased minimum wage without workers protesting and going on strike, the government will not respond to ASUU unless they protest and strike, that government is now calling on Nigerian youths for dialogue, the youths have been complaining for decades, but an insensitive government turned deaf ears for decades, as long as the leaders are feeding fat and comfortable, they show little care for the poor and young people. I hope they take young people seriously this time, they should really thank God that the young people gave them long notice before hitting the streets with protest. It is only highly responsible youths that gives a government notice before protesting, that is confirmation that this protest is planned to be peaceful, but like the great femi falana said, it is usually government and politicians that send thugs to attack peaceful protesters because they are criticizing bad governance.
