You might a garage at home and you can keep car there. If not, then you might need to rent a garage. But most of the time, it is already there in your accommodation.

No, you don't need that to buy a car. Just check with local authorities in the state you are living in as well.

Best to buy car not more than 10yrs old in age and less than 200k kms run, never buy if not registered and get insurance. Carsales.vom.au is best to look out for. For Students is best to go with 4 cylinder.
