I'm sorry but I dont know who started spreading this misinformation but l'oreal hi-color does indeed have lightner(bleach) in it. In fact it lightens and deposits color at the same time.
I actually mentioned in the video that the L’Oréal has a lightener in it. I was always under the impression that it was comparable to a box dye. Where it has lightener in it but it’s more controlled and not as harsh as using straight bleaching powder. I think that’s where the mix up of “no bleach” comes in.
The product contains ammonia and peroxide but not bleach. If a product contains bleach, there will be packets of bleaching powder in the product.
Imma do mine the way u said every loc I was like ohhh shit ... I think I'm only gonna do lf of my head I still want some black/dark brown hair ....thanks I'm a few days shy of a month and u have definitely been assisting/inspiring me to keep at it!

My skin is darker and my hair is a brighter red color…any skin tone can wear color.

Thank you! And no, I'm no longer using NappStar's product for my retwists. I've been sticking to oil only for my retwists and a little aloe vera gel if I want more hold.
