    Thanks Vince, I was looking at this tool for a while. Your video on it was the clincher. I go to lots of offices and commercial facilities as a handyman. I need to have my truck full of tools, ready for anything. I chose the air snake because if it is really bad, we can call in a real plumber. This thing has worked on nearly every slow drain I have had to clear. Never enough water flushing the soap down with motion controlled faucets. This thing is a time saver. Also the current model 2572B includes the extension and the toilet adapter. There is also 2 slots for extra batteries, one for a 2.0 another for a 4, or 6. Love the channel brother.

    I used to work at a supermarket like 20 years ago and this tool is enough to solve most problems. Between the meat area, produce area, and bathrooms, this tool pays itself like 3 times in one visit. If you get the M18 fuel snake auger you might even make them sign an exclusive contract

    the one's saying it doesn't work or it splashes in their face is due to operator error. You're setting the psi to high trying to get the job done faster, and either not using the right adapter or setting your position right (trying to rush).
    The tools works for me on some clogs. Thats it. Simple.

    I use an air cannon at my job that requires you to fill it with air from a compressor. After 1 shot you need to refill it at the compressor. This tool is like a dream come true. Dealing with many drains and bathrooms I will say Air Shots usually get the job done 80% of the time. I'm gonna look into this for our facility. Just gonna have to test a bit at 50psi, our cannon goes up to 125psi but rarely do we go above 70. That added 20 psi is a make or break to see if this can work for us.

    Vince not sure it is for the DIYer being that it is $329 but it looks like a great tool from Milwaukee. I have rental properties and this is probably a much better alternative to start to clear a clog. Then use the snake after that doesn't work.

      I just bought one for $190 - it may not be for every job - but as you say, a first line of defense. Always have drain rods, caustic drain cleaner for other issues.
      One thing I thought it may be handy, is for storm water or agriculture drains - to blow out any gunk or sediment.

    traditional snaking: haul in a large snake machine, lay down tarps to catch splatter, exert energy and time manually snaking and retrieving a cable that could possibly bind up.. hurting yourself or damaging client property, cleaning and greasing the snake afterwards..
    airsnake: 90% of the time if it’s not root related clears the drain on the first poof. pack up, move to my next call.
    I absolutely love this tool i wish i would have bought it sooner!

    Hey Vince I do drain cleaning for a living and this tool will not do the job. This is a retake on the kinetic water ram. Air will not breakup built up grease. or tree roots in a line. The air in a lot of cases will blow off the trap under the sink and blow most of the air up the fresh air vent. And wait for the water to slash all over the room if that unit does not have a good seal on the toilet. Been there done that.

    • @VCGConstruction
      @VCGConstruction  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can see that happening in some cases. That’s why I agree this is a professional tool and should be used with the judgment of a plumber!! Definitely not gonna clear roots, more drastic measures will need to be taken!!

      @@EPSKRCMPK exactly right! Where I see this machine, is for slow clearing drains, as an initial puff - like you would a plunger. 80% of the times, plunging clears the issue.

    This is just a fancy plunger, if the blockage is before the vent it might work, but any blockage down stream of the vent won’t clear, all of the air will just escape thru the vent... the package says up to 35’ hahah..
    It won’t clear a grease blockage, or something stuck in a toilet.

    too bad the minimum pipe size is 1 inch...i could use this tool if it went down to 3/4 inch...i unclog alot of drain pipes for commercial ice machines with nitrogen...most of the drain lines are 3/4 inch and some are 1/2 inch...c'mon milwaukee...make a 3/4 inch adapter 😁

      I do commercial service and repair. I recommend you getting a General water ram comes with a standard 1/2 mip tip that you could adapt anything that is 1/2 fip that will hose down to you custom size.
