Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just fixed mine today. It took me a while to reach the nut, but it was all good. I have to fix the water shutoff valve, it's leaking. No worries though. Thanks again! This was the best by far.

@@jonbangsal3528 the new set you purchased from Home Depot didn't come with the bulb looking thing (I don't know what it's called). Was that part not needed? My toilet is making the same noise and I'm going to attempt to fix it myself (I can't afford a plumber and I'm a new widow with no family living near). That missing bulb threw me.
I have replaced my toilet system about 3 months ago. The problem is the humming noise inside the pipes. When the noise starts, I flush the toilet or turn on the bathroom sink to stop the noise. So, 30 seconds later, the noise restarts again. What do I need to do to save money? Thank you.
James Gilliam wow, that’s unfortunate James! For your case, I would recommend contacting a plumber because it sounds like there’s some issues with the pipes. Before you do that, research online on google to see if anyone else has the same issue. I’m sure you’ve done that already. If so, you may need to contact plumber to avoid more costly issues

Mine just did this but it wasn't flushed. This was random. It was so loud and vibrating the whole house. And we just replaced the guts in the toilet.
