Hi Wanda, what I love about orchids is that there are many ways to grow them and we can chose the way we feel comfortable with. Thank you so much for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Those Phalaenopsis Orchids are healthy and lovely... 💕 💕 💕 Thank you for sharing...Dear Fernanda. 😘 Have a wonderful day ahead to you and yours. Greetings from my Country.
Did you see the little one native to Borneo? 😅 She always makes me think of you. Thank you so much my dear friend Zaleha for your kindness and friendship, much appreciated. Have a wonderful rest of the week 💐🥰🌺🌻💖
Olá minha querida amiga bom dia ! Seus vídeos como sempre verdadeiras aulas ! Maravilhosas as flores! Tudo muito limpo que dá gosto ver... Beijinhos grandes ❤❤❤
Your Phals are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Fernanda and they are growing so well in the water culture, and they look amazing in the glass jars, I have my Phals in orchid soil but after watching your wonderful video I will be changing them over to the water culture as your Phals look so beautiful and I really love how you can see the roots, your mounted Phals look amazing too, thanks so much for sharing the wonderful update and how you grow your Phals in the water culture with us, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Portugal for a blooming lovely Wednesday XXXX
Hi Lyn, thank you so much for your lovely comment. I love to see the roots and the reason why I changed to this method was because I was not being able to grow Phalaenopsis in bark with sucess. It went well. The only problem is that my husband is always complaining about the extra humidity in the house because of the water in the jars. These are ok because they are in my pantry. However I have to agree he is right in what regards the ones I keep in my lounge. Winters have been too humid lately and this winter we both were sick with respiratory problems inhanced by the excessive humidity in the house. So, the ones in the lounge may have to be repotted. A dehumidifier would not work because we keep the door of the lounge open during the day and the humidity also comes from outside. What ever happens the ones I've shown in this video will continue in water culture. Much love to you and Hans ❤❤❤
Fernanda your Phalaenopsis look wonderful, I always enjoy seeing your updates on them because they always look amazingly happy and thriving under your care, Thank you for this delightful video
Beijinhos e bom domingo 😘😘😘😘
Yay 🙌🏼 a Phal tour. I love looking at yours, Fernanda. You give me confidence to try water culture. Maybe I’ll move that “tinted” one just as a try. Have a beautiful rest of your day 💚
Thank you very much Fernanda for your wonderful explanations, You have great experience and share your knowledge with us, so thank you very much. Have a nice weekend. Greetings- Manu
Elas adoram a água.
Hi Fernanada, great video, love all those healthy Phalaenopsis you got! Your sedirea is amazing! So many leaves and lovely blooms! Mine doesn't bloom for me, but to be fair I only gave her winter rest this year, so will see if she does bloom. Your phalaenopsis hieroglyphica looks very healthy and I'm sure will bloom for you soon. Thanks very much for sharing and happy growing.
Hi dear Mary!!! Orchids can be so unpredictable sometimes. Yes, I hope hieroglyphica gives me blooms soon. And I confess, I forgot the Sedirea needed a winter rest until it was late winter but still it surprised me with a spike. Go figure 🫣 I trying to take the most from what I got and consider myself lucky 🤣 Have a great rest of the week 💖💖💖
Progress is fantastic, amiga mia 🥰 love the Little Lady, she really is a pretty one.. my Sweet Memory opened its first bloom yesterday. It would appear that she made it through another winter. I cut all the old spikes off in fall, she just grew a new one and what a reilef i dtill have her. My pulchra is groeing 2 spikes, lets see if i get more kekis. The keki is growing a keiki on the spike it was attached to the mother plant 😅 if nothing else survives, pulchra will 🤣 have a wonderful day, vecina favorita ❤ thank you for a lovely video ❤
Hi dear Nina 💕 Lately I cannot help thinking how frustrating orchids can be. We treat similar ones in a similar way and not all respond, although they should. That undermines my confidence and the feeling that the more I know, the more I reckon that I know nothing 😵💫😜🤣 I lost several this winter, same as it happened the winter before and most of them I don't see why except for the fact that winters were too dark. In fact, the two previous winters were terribly dark, always cloudy. Suddenly very warm today and despite the fact nights are not warmer than 13/14 C I decided I had enough and I took most orchids outdoors, hopefully I don't have to bring them back indoors again. I expect you are getting this beautiful weather too and that it is for keeps, at least for the next 6 months 🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids weather is steadying out now. I was going to populate the deep south today, but my body couldn't take it. Hopefully mañana 👍🏼
I finally figured out how to keep them alive. I've kept all of them in the media they came in and with the next repot I will use a mix of bark and coconut chips. that way they stay wet and they seem to like that. I think I'm ready for a few species 😁
Beijinhos e boa semana 🥰🥰😘
Olá, que maravilha! Tão lindas! Mas me deixa babando essa Mini Mark. Tenho verdadeira paixão, e consegui perder duas😢. Mas se encontrar compro. E cultivo assim.
Thank you very much for watching and commenting 💐 Much appreciated ❤️ It takes from 3 weeks to one month for the jars to green up and that is when I clean them up. So, I.let the roots dry out for one day or 2 every 3 to 4 weeks. Have a great rest of the week 💖💖🥰
They are beautiful and I admire the way you are growing them. ❤️

I am sure you are. It's amazing how orchids adapt to somany different ways in cultivation. Thank you, Ynse for being here, much appreciated ❤️💕🌹

The orange polka dot one is one I always dreamed of finding. What is her fragrance like?
I am not good at decoding ir desdribing scents. It's citrus-sweet kind of, very pleasant . Hope you can find one 🥰😘
