Salmon River in NY 😮 I’m there every year, make sure you’re there in the last week of September or even early October to hit the salmon run sweet spot. A lot of people don’t realize this but the salmon DON’T bite, you just have to drift the hook into their face and hang on for the ride if you snag one.
We had one but the water was honestly a lot further down than we thought and our net just barely reached the water and then on top of that it just wasn’t big enough to scoop up a fish that size so definitely getting a bigger longer net!! 🤦🏻♀️
I am sure you won't answer this but I am going to ask so you are divulging personal info about yourself for why only for attention or for money because why would one broadcast that just because? I bet all I hear are crickets on that, lol

A Catfish that size you definitely need a net to bring it in.

@@briannayoutt Those short nets are great for boats, but if you're fishing from the shore, you need a longer handle net.
