Thanks so much for this amazing design. It holds a special meaning for me. My sorority’s unofficial symbol is an elephant. I’ll figure out a design layout for the number of elephant appliqués to make with the remainder being just granny squares. Thanks and I can’t wait to get started.
I made 35 squares for a baby blanket. 5 squares across and 7 down. Each square was 5 and a half inches across. I only worked 18 squares with the elephant and the rest are plain. The blanket measures 27” across and 40” down. I added a small edge around it. I hope this helps.
