I cried after the Svitolina match when Daria gave a soft smile and thumbs up as the announcers said it was the agreement between players. What saddened me was when the crowd booed Dasha. The announcers, John McEnroe and Mary Carrillo were angry at the crowd, saying no one on the tour less deserves to be booed than Daria, and praised her for her stance and what a good person she is. I was so proud of Daria💙. I saw poor Natasha sitting in the stands, frozen with nerves.

Even your short interviews with the other players are different from the official interviews. It looks like a huge family. Everyone seems much more relaxed - your interview with Anna and the shy Andrei is already legendary today!! LIKE IT, LIKE IT A large portion of the players come across as quite likable, even Ostapenko, who unfortunately tends to have difficult behavior during matches. I was surprised by how relaxed she appears in interviews. Not as relaxed as both of you but close ;) Only Bublik was a farce... I hope you will make many further interviews and content in the future. I would like to make a suggestion: Topic : strings A few insight about the Strings would be interesting: i saw dasha plays 22.5 hardness, i was wondering that she plays so soft. only on clay or also on hardcourt? which kind of strings she plays? polyester or natural gut or a comibination? different strength on different conditions (wheater cold/warm) or circumstances (clay/grass/hardcourt) etc. pp. Im sure there is a lot to talk about this topic from a pro perspective. I would also like to thank you for publishing it in English and Russian. It is time for us to finally rebuild bridges between Europe and Russia, and you are contributing a small part to it. Я бегала по грунту в кедах, которые протирались до дыр за несколько дней, а единственные белые полукеды для соревнований бережно заклеивались. Как я в них бегала, непонятно. Dear Daria, First of all, thank you for a great week at RG, it’s such a pleasure to see you here. Last match was tough and it happens, but you showed such a wonderful performance before. It’s so sad to see this awful attitude from some people, you don’t deserve any part of it. All these words of hate from homophobes, misogynists, pro-war russians, ukrainians and their supporters, who sees only where you from and don’t know a shit about your personality, from people who congratulated you just after previous match and now lose all remnants of humanity - it couldn’t be more unfair to anyone than to you. But in all this mess it surprises even more that we can see such a brave kind and pure soul as you are. You’re truly inspiration and you don’t even know how it matters to see such an example of respectable behaviour in this rude and ignorant world, especially for young girls. Please don’t take all this bullshit personally. You’re so lucky to have love like this and I hope it helps you to go through all professional difficulties. As for the crowd ... crowds will be crowds, and nothing messes more with people's sense of right and wrong (or their sense of manners) than gathering together in a group. First of all, thank you for a great week at RG, it’s such a pleasure to see you here. Last match was tough and it happens, but you showed such a wonderful performance before. It’s so sad to see this awful attitude from some people, you don’t deserve any part of it. All these words of hate from homophobes, misogynists, pro-war russians, ukrainians and their supporters, who sees only where you from and don’t know a shit about your personality, from people who congratulated you just after previous match and now lose all remnants of humanity - it couldn’t be more unfair to anyone than to you. But in all this mess it surprises even more that we can see such a brave kind and pure soul as you are. You’re truly inspiration and you don’t even know how it matters to see such an example of respectable behaviour in this rude and ignorant world, especially for young girls. Please don’t take all this bullshit personally.
You’re so lucky to have love like this and I hope it helps you to go through all professional difficulties. You already have more than mostly people could even dreamed of and keep it going.
Thanks for your position and openness. In this dark time that lovely human being shines even more and it helps to believe in better. Please, remember there are a lot of people that really love and support you.

As for the crowd ... crowds will be crowds, and nothing messes more with people's sense of right and wrong (or their sense of manners) than gathering together in a group. If my grand-daughters ever need someone to look up to, I'll point them to you. (Well, maybe I'll point them to Rybakina too, but that's just because I've got a bit of a thing for her 🙂).
