The white parts look like an X-ray 🩻. Pretty cool 😎
It kind of does! 😀
I love it! Colors are awesome! Love the dye movement. You really hit a winner! Can't wait for the series!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much!!! 🤗
Love it. The girls look great and I am a fan of gravity dyes. Looking forward to more of these.
Thank you so much! 😀
Very beautiful Angie thanks for sharing with my morning cuppa coffee😁✌️

Thank you! 😊
Very pretty! I love the center!
Thanks so much, me too! 😊
❤❤❤ very nice, as usual. I like the combination and the gravity flow👏🏻
Thank you so much! 😀
Thank you for this! I have a folded in half diagonally pleated reversed that I've been staring at, wondering what it would look like gravity dyed. Started making ice last night for it so this is perfect timing!
That's awesome, I'm glad it was helpful! 😀
Love this, Angie!
Thank you so much! 😀
Hi Angie, that’s gorgeous. Nancy
Thank you so much, Nancy! 😀
Hi very exiting to follow..yes please, really like your videos of gravity. I remember some you did where the colour actually traveled "up" a box and down😁 think it was a much dye?! That would be fun to see again👍 thank you for sharing🤗
Awesome, thank you! 😀
Beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Can you gravity dye a yin yang design or a peace sign. Just a thought. Loved your video, Angie.
Thank you! Hmmm...let me think about that one.
Very pretty!!!❤
Thank you! 😊
Gorgeous ❤
Thank you! 😊
When you are doing this series can you gravity dye a shirt that is extremely damp? I dont mean a spray of water. I mean soaked and ringed out by hand type damp. And you can compare it to gravity dyeing a shirt that is dry.
I get better dye movement and flow when the fabric is very damp. It opens up the fibers to allow the dye to flow through more freely. I tell people this all the time. But so many gravity dye dry.
it would be cool to see the results from an experiment. I so hope you get this message and try it out.
Thus far, I have not seen a video comparing a GRAVITY ice dye on dry fabric vs wet fabric. I’d love to see this experiment.
Absolutely, that would be a fun one to try! I've done several gravity dyes on damp shirts, but not super damp. I'll give it a try. 😀
Very cool
Thank you so much! 😀
Ive been hesitant to apply gravity dye techniques to more complex clothes (like a dress), because the fabric isn't a plane, there are those convex folds that don't hang straight down and it seems the dye will collect in those , emphasizing unexpected areas. Any suggestions on setting up gravity dye for clothes like that? I guess the only thing I can think of is to hang it carefully, but then there are extra clip marks. I hope this makes sense, mostly thinking out loud here .
It can be a little more difficult with more complex clothing. I mainly use this technique on t-shirts. I have gravity dyed a couple of dresses. On one of those I partially scrunched it and allowed the remaining part with the gathering to hang down straight. It worked pretty well.
I bought some washable markers (of a different brand) and they wouldn't mark on the damp fabric, but I can see in this video that you use Crayola, but before I buy some, do you have an affiliate link? I didn't see one listed in your other links. I love the way this one turned out, and might very well try this next myself!
I really like the Crayola Ultra Clean Washable Markers. Each marker normally lasts quite awhile. Here is a link to some like I buy: amzn.to/3Vi8hRL
Thank you, I really like the way this one turned out too! Have a great weekend! 😀
That is gorgeous! Was it on an incline?
Thank you! No, it's kind of hard to tell from this angle, but it was flat on top of the drying rack.
Thought so but wasn't sure. Either way awesome stuff!
