- This tutorial is for an ice dyed gravity diagonal fan fold design. This design is part of my "Will it gravity dye?" series. I love incline ice dyeing this design so I am curious how well it does with gravity dyeing.

This is gorgeous. I love batching outside in the summer. I also put in a tote. But I put the lid on and put it in the sun. I've gotten temps inside the box of 135⁰. I still batch for at least 24 hours. But the heat makes the washout SO MUCH EASIER!! Most of the dye bonds this way and my hot soaks can be less time and less switching of the water, even with blues.
