Absolutely incredible talent! His voice takes me back to the Van Morrison/ Bill Withers sound, Amos thanx for "Violin", the song brings me to my knees!

Violin, is my favorite song.... and i am glad to hear his explanation...It makes sense now ....I was too much in love with the live version.
The biggest surprise for me in the album was "Behind Me Now" it is outside the range we have heard from him before......I love it.....I had to listen many times to make sure it was him singing....
"Clear Blue Eyes" .......great and very moving ....love the vocals.......

This has got some golden points for songwriters. I like to "bake" my songs. Wait and let them mellow, develop. Thank you Amos for your music and inspiration. ❤️

He's so genuine, he means business and he's made such an impression on me not just as an artist of which he is an extraordinary storyteller/performer, but as an individual. Visit the farming links on his website as well. Get yourself some Amos(Lee), it does a body good. Pass it on. lol.

"Learned a Lot" has the most amazing lyrics......"Nobody told me living was easy, I ain't living in fear anymore...."...WOW ,,that is simple and huge.....sort of thing you wish you had learned 20 years ago....
The Whole album is amazing!!! A Masterpiece....it will stay current forever......
He is truly talented and has an amazing band backing him on tour......They know where to play and where not to play ....that is rare!!
Thank you Amos for Mission Bell ....

Thank you for posting this interview. It is amazing to hear about the process.
It is too bad I can not understand the questions ....i guess i just need the answers...
I have been a fan since 2006, and I do like every thing he has done but I have to say Mission Bell is truly a complete work .....It is more than a cohesive group of songs ....it is easy to connect to every song....every song stands on its own.

Sweet! Now If I ever see Amos Lee, and I forget English, at least I can ask him a few questions in German. Gotta be prepared!

It`s funny how you have to build the question based on the progression of his answer, because you can`t understand german. Real brainwork here.
