- Grace performed an amazing set at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville in September 2023. On The Thrill is Gone, she brought up Toby Lee, an 18 year old blues guitarist who has quite a track record (he was UK Young Blues Artist of the Year in 2023). You might wanna look up his onesies series from when he was a kid. Like Grace, this dude is a true prodigy.
I recently discovered the harmonica player's name: Kiersi Joli. She was an old soul, tender 16 years of age when she played with Grace and Toby. Look for more blues excellence from this one in years to come!

Musical happiness. Joy, humor, big smile blues. That's The King. You can't teach that shot I swear or every blues musician would do it! Hear here! Blues Lives!!!
Brilliant performance from everyone.
When you see these guys, the future of live music is in safe hands. Totally awesome.
Hell Yes! Bring it on!
Love it lots of developing talent
Harmonica player is frickin me our FANTASTIC.
I finally ran across her name and socials: Kiersi Joli. She was 16 when she performed this tune. Old soul with many years of music ahead of her!
Tribute to the King by a young group of blues players who "get it" at such a tender age.
GRACE and TOBY the future stars from guitars is on the road with this job. Respect guys and miss.....jackyfan french respect from memory MR BB KING .R.I.P. forever.
Now that is the blues so glad to see the spirit in these young artists.
She's got it all. I wish every city large and small was like this.
BB would be proud. Cheers from Texas.
I have been watching Toby since those onsie days...lol. You could tell the blues were in his soul even when he was dressed in bunny ears:)
Grace, I love the texture you add to your Gibson, just perfect, sounds like a Gibson.
😱😂

Bonjour j aime beaucoup cette musique qui représente l Amérique profonde 😊❤

Very Very nice!!!! All band members are very smooth just right.
なんだかお休みの朝から泣けてくる(T_T)🎸
What an awesome video. I was looking for videos with Grace Bowers on them and came across this fabulous band with Grace and Toby and who on earth is the AMAZING Harmonica player. In my opinion, she blew everybody off stage....really amazing but who is she???? Surely somebody must know who she is!!!
I agree. I asked the question, but so far, no answers. Searched social media and no luck. If anyone knows, please share! 😁
I ran across her socials today. Her name is Kiersi Joli. She recently turned 17 but was 16 when she turned in this performance. I'd say she has quite a good future ahead of her!
Toby already a veteran at 19
Not a veteran of not trying to upstage someone, clownish
I fell asleep at The theater in the round featuring BB king....i was sittin front row.I aint falling asleep here.Awesome group!!!
Grace shows her stuff on this number!
I'm like 500 ! 👍👍
👍
nice
It took me until the last 30 seconds to realize that Toby was already on stage! Thought they were going to bring him up. Never thought I'd say this after 7 months of listening to Grace play, but Mr. Lee outplayed Grace and had better tone on this song.
They’re really very different players… he’s more in the style of Joe Bonamassa, she’s more of a jam band, jazzy, free form player…. I prefer her style compared to Toby’s… her finger picking is really great and it’s all she uses… mostly.
Over the years Lee has become the next generation Bonamassa and I’m not sure if we need two of him…
These two together on stage, didn’t gel very well….
@@Knight14649 Good points. I'm a huge Grace fan, but I was really surprised at how well Lee plays.
@@dougcallaghan6075 he’s a great player, it’s just that it’s a common style. Garry Moore ( r.i.p.), JB, and several others….. I started watching him years ago, when he was like 12 or younger… very impressive… I just like her unstructured style better…
I’m wondering if one day, she might surprise us and sing…
@@dougcallaghan6075 if you want to discover an upcoming great guitarist, look up Reece Malone. He’s now about 20 years old and he’s really very good…
@@Knight14649 Grace continues to evolve at a rapid pace. She and her band are great at improvising which is fun to watch (see Emo's in Austin). I'd love to hear her sing, but I think she needs a few more years of life experience to vocalize with the same feel and character as her guitar playing.
Who is the harmonica player???? She smoked them all.
I've tried to identify her but, sadly, haven't been able to.
Shit happens Grace...keep moving...its all part of the curve...but you knew that...
She had got that frog in her wrist, at some point. Happens either right off the bat or after some long, extended jams but it does happen to the best of us, and it feels like a hundred pounds... and for no damn good reason. The whole group sounded great!
Wow never heard of Toby but very nice tone he's getting
anybody know what amp he is using.
nah man, I got no clue
He has used oxygen in some of his TH-cam videos, no idea what he's using here.
Cool stuff... never mind the bollocks...
Toby has been touring extensively with Jools Holland and shared the stage with Joe Bonnamassa, Buddy Guy, Walter Trout, Billy Gibbons, and many more besides. Hardly a beginner
Grace seems very good on this, but a little tentative. Looks like they'll be doing some interesting guitar duets in the future!
Toby kinda hogging the stage here. Why couldn't he let Grace have a full solo rather than just trading licks with her?
She"s average
male ego....
Cause he's a pig,
she's an amateur.... they are pushing because of her look abd shes female.....she's just a walking g advert for gibson with no substance and very little talent
Because Toby is actually a good player, and grace is just a beyond overrated player!
The more I see Grace Bowers play, the more ordinary she seems. She only gets the hype because of her sex, age, and looks. Perhaps she'll blossom into a Susan Tedeschi!
my generation will always have the best music. what will your generation create on your own?
Every generation thinks there stuff is the best. I'm sure these kids will kill it. Just look what happened to Joe Bonamassa and Derek Trucks.
There was great stuff before your generation I reckon and I'm sure there is better stuff to come. its not a competition!
I guess so
So much talent and so little ego on display
Toby's report cards always said "doesn't play well with others" and "always wants to be the centre of attention".
He’s so much better than she is, and she has so little understanding of music, that he has to cover for her somehow…
Blatantly incorrect. @@vaportrails7943
@@vaportrails7943 Toby = Veteran battled scared warhorse, Grace = My Little Pony
Disagree, he played like a step past beginner 😂
@@autkHe has won the UK young blues artist of the year 3 years in a row....He's way past beginner.
Maybe she found her “Derek”
Not Quite up to Standard, It was OK for a Pub band, Grace Was great Toby was trying to show of The Harp Player did not quite reach the notes, the singer was dreadful with this song
Nice pretending you know something.
dude needs to relax and give his ego a rest. Grace was awesome, as always.
She is really not very good…why is she getting so much promotion and so many opportunities? Rich parents in the industry?
Almost seems like a "Taylor Swift" syndrome.....
I totally agree. I keep seeing her described as a guitar virtuoso! Absolute garbage. She doesn’t sing and she’s a mediocre guitarist at best and downright awful at worst. I’ve never known such an average player get such attention. Somebody in the industry definitely wants her to succeed. It’s either nepotism or she’s got the goods on someone.
In the entertainment business it never hurts looking good doing what you do
Couldn't agree more she's not that good!
A fan told me to tell you to kiss my ass...
Why is Grace not leading this in. The other guy is pretty lame compared to her.
a bit muddled...
too many cooks
spoiled the broth.
This girl has legs longer than a day without bread
The music is great, the singing is horrible.
Toby Lee is incredible. Putting Grace up there beside him was a mistake. It's very easy to see how much better Toby is than Grace. Grace needs to spend some time with a top notch guitar teacher, then practice...practice...practice....
She needs to get out of her comfort zone and get out there and tread the boards so she can earn her stripes. I think moving to Nashville was a mistake. Oh and Toby just won Young British Blues Player 2024!!!
