Ok, so he’s smart now. I think this is gonna take some getting used to. 😮
But wait, he *asked* her to make him dumb? She did *not.*
My guess is that he wandered into her office, possibly looking for her, and he caught her disassembling, or maybe even torturing one of his siblings. She threatened him into silence, and eventually he cracked under the stress of keeping the secret and asked her to just make him forget about it or make him not smart enough to fully understand it, which could have been a choice purely based on emotion or caused by her own manipulation. Emily (Funtime's mother) saw this as not much of a loss to her, and so she did it. However, Emily seemed surprised at the state of Funtime's programmed skills, so she might have made a mistake, or she was acting to appear more innocent.
But, I don't fully know why the "inner Funtime" said that thinking about whatever happened made him not like himself. It could be on account of never telling anyone about what happened to the others, or not protecting the ones who got killed off afterwards, or something of the like. Like, survivors guilt.
To be honest I thought Funtime was going to keep his memories, not effectively switch consciousnesses, not to mention switch brain cells. A lot is going to happen next time. I can't believe Funtime actually wanted this, to be dumb. What is Emily hiding from everyone?

I don't know what I just witnessed, but I can tell there's a lot going on. FT is smart again and he's not wanting to be there. Meanwhile, Bon Bon is dumb and screaming things like FT had previously. I wasn't expecting him to say that he asked his mother to make him dumb, I thought he did that to himself if I'm being honest. It's the version of him from highschool, but he was begging Freddy to not see his mother. What did she do to make him choose the path he had? This mystery just got more interesting and I hope we find out soon
