if you take a "leave of absence" meaning, you notify university that you will stop studying for, for example, medical, death of a parent reasons, you take a "leave of absence. during that time, however, you are not allowed to work in any job within the university property or work on any job. under those circunstances people who take a leave of absence usually travel abroad for a funeral, or recover from a serious illness.

If a Masters course requires 10 courses and a student must take 3 courses to be a full time student. However if someone complete his/her graduation in four term 3+3+3+1 courses in that case will that raise any issue while applying for PGWP?.
The university says that "Those on a study permit or visa are allowed to be part time in the final term of studies ONLY.". Finally a student can complete his masters in 3+3+3+ (1 and Co-op) manner also what is the situation for PGWP in that case?

Hey, this is from IRCC’s website:
If you’re starting a new study program. You can work full-time if you meet all of these requirements:
You were already able to work off campus during your previous studies
You have a valid study permit or you applied to extend your study permit before it expired
You received written confirmation from your current school that you completed your program
You received a letter of acceptance to a new full-time study program at a DLI
You’ll start your new program within 150 calendar days of receiving the confirmation that you completed your previous program

Hi, I got same issue with PGWP apply, they rejected my PGWP apply, very similar, I start at full time, pay full time, but I drop one course just before final exam, I proof a lot of evdience and school letter. Now I think I need argue with them, since the part time term is my ESL term. I hope they can read my transcript after I completed all ESL course.

Hello. I kindly wanted to request you one information. I applied for SP and 20 days ago received medical exam instruction. Hence, does it mean that immigration office assessed my all documents and accordingly gave instruction? And does med exam instruction boost my chance of getting the SP?

    • @rrdancel

medical exam is a step of aplication. bether to look for the aproved institution that can perform the medical exam and do it as soon as possible. there is a time limit to do it. dont want to keep your hopes up, but it could. jist make sure the medical forms are submited completed and promptly

I've always wondered, since I only finished a year in my college degree in ECE, and then I chose to drop out for this school year in order to pursue canada and work full time for now, would it suffice to use my senior high school credentials for application? or am I at a disadvantage in my position? 🤔🥲
