Hey, loved the video,it was really helpful. But i got one question, can you tell me the meaning of ''You cant work on or off campus during an authorized leave from your study program, even if your study permit says you're allowed to work in Canada'' quote, i couldnt really understand it.Thank you!
if you take a "leave of absence" meaning, you notify university that you will stop studying for, for example, medical, death of a parent reasons, you take a "leave of absence. during that time, however, you are not allowed to work in any job within the university property or work on any job. under those circunstances people who take a leave of absence usually travel abroad for a funeral, or recover from a serious illness.
Hi, is it wise to apply for PGWP when you are on implied status, given that you have also applied for study permit extension but you haven't not heard back from the IRCC.
Ohh I think I may have dabbled on this found here: th-cam.com/video/cCK-_Oy3XkA/w-d-xo.html But if you let me know which area about it I should explore, that would give me a better idea on what angle to attack if from but I appreciate your suggestion ☺️💝
If a Masters course requires 10 courses and a student must take 3 courses to be a full time student. However if someone complete his/her graduation in four term 3+3+3+1 courses in that case will that raise any issue while applying for PGWP?. The university says that "Those on a study permit or visa are allowed to be part time in the final term of studies ONLY.". Finally a student can complete his masters in 3+3+3+ (1 and Co-op) manner also what is the situation for PGWP in that case?
I applied pgwp with 1 year passport validity left and was given 1 year pgwp. The moment I received my passport, I immediately applied for work permit visa extension. Received my full 3 years already
Hey, this is from IRCC’s website: If you’re starting a new study program. You can work full-time if you meet all of these requirements: You were already able to work off campus during your previous studies You have a valid study permit or you applied to extend your study permit before it expired You received written confirmation from your current school that you completed your program You received a letter of acceptance to a new full-time study program at a DLI You’ll start your new program within 150 calendar days of receiving the confirmation that you completed your previous program Link here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/work-off-campus.html#new
Hello. I kindly wanted to request you one information. I applied for SP and 20 days ago received medical exam instruction. Hence, does it mean that immigration office assessed my all documents and accordingly gave instruction? And does med exam instruction boost my chance of getting the SP?
medical exam is a step of aplication. bether to look for the aproved institution that can perform the medical exam and do it as soon as possible. there is a time limit to do it. dont want to keep your hopes up, but it could. jist make sure the medical forms are submited completed and promptly

Now I think I need argue with them, since the part time term is my ESL term. I hope they can read my transcript after I completed all ESL course.

No, usually just means that you need to provide a medical exam as part of your SP requirements dear :)
