You need to turn on friendly fire to drag your tamed boars
That's a really interesting way to round up boars by harpooning them. Too bad I've given up on raising them since I had a "You stirred the cauldron" event where bats killed all of them.
fully enclosed boar farm works to counter that :)
@Casual I concur, enclosing and roofing them makes no difference to their breeding capacity. So long as you are thinning them regularly, they still breed at normal rate
@@Aloofgoblinoid you don't even need to thin them regularly, just have the breeders high enough in the air and have the babies drop on the ground

The real killer of the swamps is 2 star leeches. They hit for 40 pierce damage, half that of a 2 star draugr archer, except their poison is worse than Bonemass's.
If I remember right it was doing 3 damage a second and I was probably in full lvl 4 Silver. If I were in iron it it would probably do 4-5 for 20 seconds
I think you can harpoon tamed animals if you turn on Friendly Fire.
Yeah, i think devs made it so tame animal are allies and require ff to be off. Exception to that is the butcher knife i believe.

Considering that most range damage from enemies is piercing and that scale shield does reduce piercing damage, i would safely said that should always have it on you...
But i need that parry ability. I don't think you can parry with the scale shield...
@@HiccupTheHermit mmm true in 1vs1 but when swarmed by deadly mobs it helps enough to compensate (that shield does wonders against starred archers and deathsquittos) and remember that parrying cost way more stamina than just blocking, in 4+vs1 its so bad than more often than not stamina consumption gets cha killed..
all this to tell cha you should always have both on cha they are both situational.
I think the other weapon you are talking about needs ymir flesh and silver

Signe is on her way to find Bonemass' swamp... After sailing around for several days trying to find Haldor. I swear the little guy is off in the Mistlands visiting his kin or something. I've never had this much trouble finding him before! I've also been hopping about in the mountains trying to find an exposed silver node (Bonemass does NOT like silver), but no luck yet. Bonemass is SO disgusting, lol (well done devs)
Oh - and you're missing silver. We need silver for, um, THAT bow.
Yeah, sometimes Haldor really likes to hide.
If you really want to find them, there is a site for map checking. Just gotta enter your seed and it will show where haldor is
I paused your video near the beginning to comment😅, one way you could have shown weakness was to hit one of your stone blocks with the basic pickaxe. All stone objects (sans stone itself of course) have a natural weakness to picks, and the damage counts will always be yellow😅
Ahh, nice, good to know. I was pretty surprised when the axe didn't do the same against the wood walls. Haha o well.
@Hiccup The Hermit I can't remember, but I think you were hitting a foundation piece, which have an added resistance that balances the weakness... don't quote me tho

They need horses in this game because there were horses in the Viking day

@@HiccupTheHermit i have never used them in the plains, i stockpile them for the infested mines :)
Does the Ward effect anything in singleplayer??
It actually gives a warning flash if an enemy bumps into it! so it's like a early warning thing. I like it.
