- This Video is intended to share personal experience attained post driving my Maruti Suzuki Celerio AMT vehicle for 6 years and 48000+ KM.
Post Driving so many years the first hand experience got though changing clutch plate 2 times at a regular interval of KMs gave me an idea of average life expected out of clutch plate of an AMT car in practical conditions.
Disclaimer : The life expectancy, cost of replacement will vary depending upon several factors detailed in this video along with place and date of replacement.
I am using Ignis Alpha AMT since 4.6 years , I have driven still 94k km still my car clutch working in good condition.

I did 93k kms on elantra amt diesel and no work done till.

I am 😊 using s.presso vxi plus AGS bought on 15 th July 2020 so far covered more than one lakh kilometres (104476) km exact so far no problem.

It jerks while taking reverse and some sounds like hitting comes . What will be the reason ? Please reply .
अगर AMT गाडी D mode में हैं और अगर हम brake लगाते हैं तो clutch disengage होता हैं क्या. जैसे अगर गाडी सिग्नल पे रोक दि D mode में तो clutch का क्या position होता हैं उस समय disengage होता हैं या घिसता रहता हैं
Very informative video sir. I own a Maruti vitara brezza zdi+ amt. It is a November 2019 model currently at 31,875 km on the odo. The car is juddering at parking speeds and while taking U turns. Took it to the service center and I'm told by the service center folks that the clutch has to be changed and costs around Rs. 14000. Also, the service center folks told me that the clutch is not covered under warranty. The car is covered under extended warranty covered till November 2024. Please Eagerly waiting for your advice in the form of your response.

My WagonR 2019..run 47000 kms..so far not changed my clutch plates..they are good even now..trouble free..nothing changed so far..

I have Ignis petrol AMT 4.4 years old, I driven 91000 km it’s clutch working in good condition and smoothly, it was a wonderful car and comfortable car it’s gives me mileage on cng 32 km/kg and petrol 18 km/L

Sir thanks for the video, I had to replace at 20k only within 2.5 years. I had taken extended warranty but Maruti charged me for clutch replacement 😢

Hi, I have a 2015 model, run 110000km in Bangalore. Had juddering problems initially. Maruti changed the clutch plate free of cost three times during warranty period. Have got consistent mileage of above 22 km on Ring road travelling daily 60 km. Cost of clutch change is around 7000. Have serviced always at same Authorized service centre. Now its on 6th clutch plate. Have changed shocks and coil springs too. Bangalore roads being so, have to take it for suspension service again. Dashboard warning light had come on two years ago. At ASS they only cleared the error log. Could not identify the reason. On repeat appearance of the light and complaint to Maruti, on Maruti advice took it to Nexa service where SA said the auto fluid qty in the auto kit looks lesser, he guessed that may be there is loss during clutch replacements. They didn't have stock. I got it filled at my regular ASS and the problem has not returned.

@@howzzthat Thank you. Yes since the technology is new, its better to trust people who are trained rather than experiment. The staff at the service centre are very friendly, advice me rightly,.have gone to great lengths to keep my car in good condition. When i see the newer SUVs and Sedans of other brands having breakdowns on road, i don't remember seeing a Maruti. That gives me confidence about the technology they adapt and the service they provide.

I mostly drive on highway and today it broke down over bridge. I have driven Ignis for 150k so He is right , my car has never crossed 2400 rpm in its history.

Hi i have automatic celerio driven 13000 km in traffic gear shift automatic from D to neutral and it starts beeping then i have to shift it from neutral to again to drive and it’s work please suggest what is problem
@rahul kesarwani Hi, Thank you for taking out time in watching and commenting, As per my experience this happens when the Transmission becomes hot, however i would suggest you to get this checked at the Maruti authorized service station, This happened only twice with me in entire more than 5 years now.

Yes. Actually AMT aur Gearbox alag alag part he.. gearbox repair ho jata hai. AMT replace hi hota hai. Or bohot costly hota hai.

El módulo AMT/AGS es muy sencillo.
Mi carro está en perfectas condiciones aún así compré todas las partes por si llegase a ocurrir algo, además compré un scanner con todas las opciones para hacer el relearn del sistema.
El líquido hidráulico se debe de cambiar cambiar cada 4 años máximo para evitar daños en el sistema.

22000 km is not correct. I have not seen any problem in 50000 in two cars. Also I feel human usually press and slip clutch more than automatic. So manual has low clutch life due to more slippage then automatic.

It depends on the how much amount of car is spending in bumper to bumper traffic . My celerio is around 39k started juddering in parking speeds and runs smoothly above 2k rpm
25k km me clutch damaged ..means very rash & reckless driving...I think 45k to 50k km is ideal for changing clutch..its my opinion..even a good driver can easily run 75k to 80k km without changing clutch

My clutch is replaced after 83k in my celerio amt. But my service guy detected when it ran 25k only. But some how till 83k I never faced and issue
@@praveendontula6087 Did you face any issue after 25k. Because during service last week the technician told me to change the clutch. It's only 22k. But sometimes the monitor shows error.

And don't change it so early...... You can extend Atleast 40k

Drive carefully, use manual mode when climbing up and don't apply to much pressure on accelerator. Gently press it and with 2000 to 3000 rpm only
I have alto k10 ist clutch plate replaced after 85000 and 2nd now planned to change at 1lac 25000 not correct

Sir meri tata zest AMT 2014 model main clutch overheat ka sign aa ra hai but gaadi chalane par thik mehsus ho ri hai, service center wale bol re hai ki clutch plates change kr k dekh lete hai problem solve ho jaye. Gears skip nhi ho re bs pickup thoda km hai as normal.. 75000 k driven... Kindly suggest ki khin temprature sensor ki problem ho skti hai? Ya should i simply dekh lu ek baar clutch plates change krwa k .. service center wale bol re the ki kuch cars main clutch new dalwa k solve ho ja ri hai problem.. but kuch cars main ek aur part dalta hai which costs around 50k... I am worried need expert opinion.... Thanks in advance
Thank you Arun for taking out time, watching and Sharing your experience and query at the same time, 75000 Km is enough for clutch wearing out even in manual, However the Overheat sign is always related with AMT transmission issues. I would suggest to google and find some good authorized service station in your city and get your car reviewed. TATA, Maruti all uses the same manufacturer (Magneti Marelli ) AMT transmission.

Please change ambient temperature sensor which is located near radiator.I also faced same problem in my Nexon diesel AMT it costs around 350 RS

Hi. does the clutch plate is covered in 5 YRS extended warranty? asking this as my service guy says clutch plate assembly are not covered under warranty. THANKS IN ADVANCE

Thank you Rajendra for taking out time in watching, commenting and posting your query, Apologies for such a late reply, I am not sure if your query is still a valid one let me know... by the way if i have to attempt your query today i would say check if its first hand only, and tyre conditions also, because generally around 50K all 5 tyre requires replacement, that will be an additional cost for you.

Hey JC, Apologies for such a long delay, i am not sure about the time, however if the query still holds valid then i would suggest you to reconsider looking for other option, its quite high priced, moreover if the vehicle is driven easily without putting strain on it, which means no sporty styled driven then apart from clutch plate change, there aren't any much failures i have heard so far, Mileage is an indicator how vehicle is getting driven, easy drive better mileage (14-15), sporty drive low on mileage (08-10).

Everyone should be very careful, where you park your car or which service centre one use.
Catalyst converter theft is very common. That is one of the cause of seeing engine light on the panel.
