I always goof off these type of movies that depict all that sound in space. You would think that by now they might have stumbled on a slight reality. Space is nearly devoid of matter, thus, no sound.
@@EmpireMP when the authors refer to characters and events in pre-existing productions, then yes - from a strict literary standpoint it is the same universe. the Morgaine Cycle by C.J. Cherryh is a prime example. the trilogy takes place concurrently with other events within the same universe, but is not directly related to them. ironically that universe is also called Union-Alliance. pure coincidence! but quite amusing. this would be the proverbial "elsewhere" vs the classic "meanwhile".

this is the same universe as Starship Rising/Apocalypse.
Actually some of the other films ARE in the same universe.... this one is more of an alternate reality... but yes... I see your point
