- Raise the red panel to open the door.
Use the blue pin to hold the door in open position. The gravity tends to close the door. The brown weights help balancing the door.
The door panel, the blue and green cranks create a four-bar linkage.

Hey thang, do you know a machanism to raise a bed or table with a leaver. im looking for something that if i push a lever down with my foot once or twice. that a certain point get raised like 10 cm and stays that way. even if a load is applied (like 50 kg). It would be amazing if you could help me out.

This is really my invention - four-arm lift doors. I called these doors the Z-system, because if you look at the open doors from the end, the levers and the door form the Latin letter "Z".

I made a manual crane for lifting the kayak out of the water using blocks. A working model of a one-handed commander was made to control the throttle / reverse of the outboard motor. Firstly, I build all the parts with dimensions that seem to be suitable.
After assembling them in the software, "Try and adjust" is the way I use to get the desired mechanism.

I'm looking for hinges to make my wooden 8' by10' door to flip up, wood these hinges do that? Door weights about 150lbs. If so, how much for hinge hardware n how do I order ?

Set it horizontal by clamping it on a vertical plane.

Probably. I only ever use counterweights to make things easier for another source of power, like a cylinder or a human operator.
