Beautiful boat. I loved having a friendly and knowledgeable owner helping to sell it. You can tell it was taken care of and loved.
I watch A LOT of yacht vids. Several years out from this but I'd like to say having the owner on the tour is a nice touch! Much better than a salesman tour alone.

Great, great walk around gents. Exhaustive, informative, authentic and low key. I must have been living under a piling my whole boating career as I've just come to discover Krogen...but it's instantly shot to the top of my boat bucket list...

I think it is great when you have a owner helping you do a full walk through so we can hear what they done on the boat and little things they figured out, little tricks and secrets. Both of you guys should do more videos because of the way you feed off each other's ideas and helping your memories with stuff we forget as we have gotten older. I know all the older guys we know just how our memories have gotten. This is a really nice boat, but I'm not sold yet about having a bow master bedroom.

Dude you're huge and you don't make the boat look small. A major selling point as is being able to go under a 15 foot obstruction and single hand operation.
A beautifully appointed boat. You can easily see the pride of ownership throughout. This is a wonderful home on the water. The only negative for me is the range limit. But other than that she is great.
Great 👍....the owner correctly calls it a saloon ( pronounced saloon) not as is so often and incorrectly pronounced as a ‘cylon’ .
That aside, a beautiful boat and a superb tour of this wonderful craft, especially helped by the owner’s input 😁 and love the humour too, lovely

I thoroughly enjoyed this informative presentation. Anthony reminded me of my neighbors in NYC. He sounded like the quintessential New Yorker! I say that because New Yorkers typically don't suffer fools gladly and his comments were, respectfully, credible and sincere!! My wife, Leslie, and I have been researching Krogen designed boats for over two years now and when I learned this boat was sold, I had a sense of disappointment, despite understanding that there are other, equally loved and well-maintained, boats in the market. The owner's testimonials added to the authenticity of the demonstration! Kudos to Bob for inviting Anthony to participate!

What is the endurance of this beauty (speed/distance)? What is the range at designed cruising speed?
It depends on what cruise you want. Some cruise in plane at 17 kts and others cruise going 7 knots. Depends on how fast an show far

I wonder what the cost to re-power this vessel is? 3500 hrs seems like a lot. Yanmar says designed service life 12-15K hrs, if maintained to spec. But 3500 hrs you are going to be replacing alternators, pumps etc. Then again picking this boat up for just shy of 500k....Im not a fan of the hybrid transmission set up however. Go one way (full electronic) or the other (not)

Did anybody understand the fuel polishing explanation at 56:08? I must be missing some things here.
Diesel grows "diesel bug" (microbes) which clogs things up. He likes to have time to clean it while at dock...not get fuel on the way out and risk clogs. If it is rough going stuff on the bottom gets kicked up....clean it on the go.
A beautiful boat, am interested but would rather not make a day of watching his memories about his life on the boat. A little is fine.

So how long did it take to motor over to Europe?
David spoke that the vessel was shipped to Europe. As good as these boats are, crossing the Atlantic would be dicey.

Not sure but fuel tank is 1400 gal with 5,000 NM 1 tank of gas to travel the great loop

How do you get to Europe on 600 gallons of fuel?
Either a northern crossing Canadian coast to greenland and across to northern europe or another popular option are the very large and reliable fuel storage bag systems they have availible for on deck fuel storage. Hope that helps
The boat can do a transoceanic crossing by using a ship with a large deck on which many boats can be ferried to and from Europe.
